My daughter turns 7 in 2 weeks and will be taking her to Disneyland on 02/27, and would like to surprise her with a Character breakfast.

I've done Goofy's Kitchen once before, but I was wondering if there are better ones that my daughter might enjoy more.

Thanks for the help!

If she likes the princesses then Ariel's Grotto is supposed to be really good.

Thanks for the tip but I will not be visiting DCA that day so I either need a restaurant in DL or in one of the hotels.

Thanks again!:thumbsup2

I just realized you said breakfast, Ariel's doesn't have breakfast anyway, sorry about that.

Plaza Inn has a Minnie and Friends breakfast. Also Chip and Dale Critters breakfast at Storytellers is another option.

Have you looked at our Character Meal photo and information thread? Perhaps the photos will give you an idea of which other meal you would like to try. Here is the link:

Okay, I am thinking that Minnie and Friends might be for you. You have tried Goofy's already, so keep in mind that none of the other meals will have that same variety or selection of food. Goofy's has the most food. But I suspect that is not the most important factor here. Minnie & Friends has the most characters (as you will see in the photo thread), and it is located inside DL.

Otherwise, your only options are Storytellers Critter Breakfast in the GCH, which features about 4 or 5 woodsy/jungly Disney characters for breakfast only, and you have the choice of menu orders or the buffet (which is small). There is a new Surf's Up with Mickey meal at the PPH, and no one has really posted too many photos of that yet, but supposedly Daisy Duck and/or Minnie can be found there. Also, Pluto and Goofy alternate, I think, and Stitch appears there. Mickey holds court at the entrance for photo ops.

Check out the character meal photo/info thread and see what appeals to you!! I think Minnie and Friends might be the way to go!:thumbsup2 (Also, it is substantially cheaper than Goofy's too, so that is a big plus!)

My daughter turned 7 two weeks ago so about the same age. She really enjoyed the Lilo and Stitch breakfast this past August and also last May. I know it's not "Lilo and Stitch" specifically anymore but it sounds like it's similar, just with Mickey instead of Lilo. It's never been very busy so they've received a lot of attention. We saw Stitch, Minnie, Pluto, Daisy, and Goofy and they came around and played with the kids several times in their surf/Hawaiian clothes. My 7 year old really liked the 2 little activities they did with the kids too, and the plastic lei they give you on arrival. This past August we also went to Ariel's because her 4 year old sister really wanted to go, and my 7 year old liked it okay but she liked Lilo and Stitch better. We're going in April and she thinks she wants to try Goofy's this time since none of us have been - did your daughter enjoy that one? I just hope she likes it as much as Lilo/Stitch.

My 4 year old wants to do Minnie's but my 7 year old said she's not too interested in those characters except for Minnie...just fyi. BUT my 7 year old is one of those who is 7 going on 16 so the Pooh characters are for "little kids" to her (LOL)!!! :-) That being said, I'm sure she would enjoy it once we got there, it's just not her top choice.
