best character breakfast

Looking for a character breakfast between the Poly and MK, do not want to spend much time traveling around. Alos is Kona Cafe nice?

My wife is a big Winnie the Pooh fan and enjoyed the CB at the MK Crystal Palace very much. Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet are there too.

We made an early PS reservation (8:00 am) about a month before the tirp. Most of the people that entered with us were headed for Cinderella's CB in the castle. The park did not open until 9:00 AM, so it was just us 'character breakfast' folks that were allowed to enter at 8:00.

We let the initial breakfast crowd disperse towards the castle and within just a few minutes were able to get many great shots of the castle with no one else in the picture. Not an easy accomplishment at any other time.

The food was as expected (nice made to order omelettes) and the character interaction was good as well.

We were done with breakfast and waiting for the rope drop at 9:00 with everyone else for the mad dash (fast walk) to Space Mountain.

If you are a Pooh and friends fanatic, I would recommend this.

Also, the Kona Cafe is nice and has great Tonga Toast. Order it. There are no characters here, though.

LoveThatDarnMouse, how was 1900 Park Faire for breakfast? I've heard a lot about the dinner, but not so much about the breakfast. This is the one with Pooh and Friends and Alice in Wonderland, right? Any characters I'm missing. We want to do a character breakfast preferably before we get in the park because I know we'll have a hard time getting the kids in a restaurant to eat when they'd rather be on rides!

My vote is for Crystal Palace! Great characters!!

We love Crystal Palace. However, the one breakfast we had at 1900 Park Fare was great. Also, we saw characters that aren't always as visible (Pinocchio, Gepetto, Alice, Mad Hatter. ) In fact, Gepetto poured my coffee -- much to the delight of my 5yr old DD.

We enjoyed out breakfast at GF. We saw Eeyore, Pooh, Alice, Mad Hatter, Penguin, Bert and Mary Poppin.

The food was good and the service was great. The GF is beautiful!

CRYSTAL PALACE all the way!! Not crowded, plenty of room. Plenty of time with the characters, and I think, the best food of any of the buffets.

Have heard good things about Ohana and 1900 Park Fare. planning to do those in August.
