Best Character Breakfast

We enjoy Crystal Palace in the MK and 1900 Park Fare in the Grand floridian

We loved 'Ohana! DH, mostly for the huge skillet of MEAT that came to the table. :lmao: Lilo & Stitch were fun, as were Mickey & Pluto. The breakfast was good. :)

Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's & Ohana breakfasts are "must do's" for us on each trip - we love all three.

IMO, the best character breakfast is Tusker House. The food was good, the character interaction has always been great and the CMs really friendly.

I'm glad you liked that breakfast....we are trying it out for the first time in December, this will be our last character meal before we head home.

For us, our favorite character breakfast is Cape May Cafe at Beach Club resort. There you will see Minnie, Donald, and Goofy in their Beach attire. They have great character interaction with the kids and the food is great.

We did CRT and Tusker House this past trip and out of the two we really enjoyed Tusker House the best. It will be on the list for our next trip for sure.

we enjoy tusker house breakfast w/donald, daisy, mickey, and goofy.:yay:

AGREE! Though I have only done a few, this was my favorite of all...from the food (SOOO many different things to choose from!), to the character interaction, and the little "celebration" around Tusker House! This was the only character meal we did that we agree is a MUST do for next time!

We also did Chef Mickey's(liked the assortment of the buffet here too), Cinderella's Royal Table, and 1900 Parke Fare...they were good, but not something we absolutely need to do again.

Our personal favorite is 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. It may sound strange, but I love the strawberry soup they make. I've even made it at home myself, and I think it's the only one you can get it at.

I think family have been lucky enough to do pretty much all there is, over the years. I know my DH enjoyed Tusker House the best, he enjoyed Akershus too. I love Cinderella's castle. My DS9's fave is Chef Mickey's... actually he has just said he loves them all "It's Disney magic food"

I don't think we have ever had an awful one. The previous location at AK left something to be desired though. The current place is a bit on the large side, and I can see how that might be a con for some. Some seats at Chef Mickey's aren't so great, but I'm sure you could say that about any restaurant.

Wow, I'm no help whatsoever...!!

We thought Ohana was a ton of fun--all because the characters were great. When we planned the trip, DH declared that he wanted to have breakfast with Stitch, so ressies were made. The food was good and plentiful, I think DD13 drank a full quart of the tropical juice on her own. No matter what, don't forget the autograph books because the characters even sign their names in character here!

My vote is for Tusker House. The food is very good, the character interraction is great. There's even a little parade led by one of the characters. Great fun.
It was so good that we cancelled our breakfast plans at Chef Mickey because we knew this could not be matched.
Go early and you can be first in line for the safari!

I'm adding my vote for Ohana. We are not big fans of buffet dining so this non-buffet gets points for that. The food is good, and the atmosphere at the Poly us great. We thought Stitch was the best character interaction of our entire trip!

We really like Cape May Cafe! :) Beach Club Resort is beautiful so we take the opportunity to wander around and soak up the lovely atmosphere while we are there. We love seeing the characters in their beachwear. Real cute! Donald was our favourite! Food was great. Loved the variety and what's best is that the pace in the restaurant was a comfortable one. No rushing, yet it wasn't slow either. Loved it!

We love them all! Well, almost - one exception. Tusker House we disliked the food - no pancakes or mickey waffles for the kids (were they there and we just missed them?) But, the donuts were a plus and Mickey looked SOOO darn cute in his safari outfit!

Hollywood & Vine - food good and LOVE their potato casserole - but the characters, eh, unless you have a preschooler who is into the Playhouse Disney characters.

Ohana's - we have the best character interaction there every time! Food is very good. Is nice taking a break from buffets and getting served, though we do like the variety buffets have to offer. Juice is great there!

Probably overall favorite would be Chef Mickeys - food was great, and have all the characters there!!

1900 Park Fare - food very good... but the section that had all the good stuff was a huge line and never made it over there, and characters were VERY rushed the day we went (Granted, was during the height of free dining in august, though!)

Cape May we enjoy the food - characters are great, but is a little too mellow in there for us!

Crystal Palace is the only one we haven't done - doing it this trip finally... and looking forward to it a lot and know it will be yummy!

Akershus - kids love seeing the princesses there. We've found the food to be very good - and again, love their potatos, too!

In a nutshell, I don't think you'll wrong wherever you go!

I'll ditto that! These places are wonderful!! Strawberry soup...mmmmm-1900 PF. Breakfast lasagna....mmmmm- CP

Not to mention the atmoshpere you get from walking into the GF for 1900 PF, or getting to walk down Main St. before the park opens if you do the first time available for CP.
