DH is a big fan of Donald Duck... not so much Disney in general. This is our
30th anniversary trip (will have our kids with us part of the time) and I want to schedule a character breakfast that includes Donald Duck. Which one would you choose and why?

Your choices are Chef Mickey, Tusker House or Cape May. Tusker House may be nice to get into AK before park opening, but I don't think Donald mingles outside of the initial pre-meal greet. I hear Cape May is a nice breakfast buffet with great character interaction (maybe before heading to Epcot or DHS). Minnie and Goofy will also be there.

if it's all about Donald, I'd go to shutters at Disney's Vero Beach Resort - saturday am character breakfast there features Goofy and Donald. Shy from a private engaguement, this is THE best character interation anywhere, bar none. Small resteraunt, causal, the characters really take alot of time with each person, at each table. Just a thought.

Tusker House is our FAVORITE character breakfast, but when we were there in December, Donald was outside taking photos. He never came inside while we were there. That's not to say he doesn't ever, but it didn't seem like he did. In 2009, he was inside the whole time.

Based on that, I'd probably choose Chef Mickey for more time with Donald. Both are great places!:goodvibes

Tusker has the best food but the best character interaction is definitely at Cape May. Both Donald and Goofy spend a lot of time at every table.

we have eaten at Tusker House lots of time. Donald comes inside b/c we have a picture with him at our table.. a GREAT picture as well!!! If he doesnt come around just ask the server if he will be coming, sometimes if its busy it just takes awhile.

We are big Donald fans in our house... and love Cape May. Good food, and more importantly the character interaction is great. Donald and goofy both sat down with us... and we have a great pic of DD. Kissing Minnie on the nose. This restaurant is generally not crowded so the characters have plenty of time to hang out.

I recommend the breakfast at Cape May. It doesn't get as busy as a character meal in the parks. The food is good, the service is great and the character interaction is awesome:thumbsup2 We have made Cape May our check out day breakfast tradition.
