Best chance of a walk up in OCT

We will be in DW the first week of Oct. I have quite a few adr's booked but there are some days we just aren't sure where we will be. What restaurants would be my best bet to try and walk up to and get a table if we needed to? We are staying at POR. What do you think the chances are that we could get into Boatwrights?

If I were you, I would go to Guest relations and ask them if there are still ADRs available. That's what I did: every morning went to Guest relations, and got ADR.
But then, I was alone, flexible and willing to eat CS if necessary.

My family of 5 went to WDW last Feb. ['06]. We were there a week and I had only made 2 previous reservations - the week before we went. We were on the DDP and guess what......we ate a TS dinner every night! I'd say your chances of getting into restaurants is pretty good. We also stayed at POR and called one morning to get ressies for Boatwrights that same day! Good luck!

Boatwrights shouldn't be a problem to walk up to, especially in October.
