Best CBR section to stay...

Just wondering what section is better to stay at CBR. Either Martinque or Trinidad North. Really want to be close to main pool, restaurants etc. Thanks

We just stayed in Martinique bldg 26. Great location.

Watch out for Martinique! I can't remember the building number, but we had a 5 minute brisk walk to get to the main pool. I wanted a 30 second leisurely walk. Ok, so I'm lazy...

. . . is a great, great, great location! It's also set more up towards the lake and not really on the parking lot (although it's a short walk) so you have all around nicer views.

I was told by the CM at check in last June that Martinique would be a preferred location in the future and carry an extra $10 charge or so per night. Don't know if they started that yet.

The extra charge for preferred locations start in Jan. It is $15 a night extra.

Martinique and Trinidad North are the two closest villages to Old Port Royale.

I suggest you read through the CBR FAQ's. That question has been asked many times and many people listed their favorites.

Thanks for the info safetymom - I wondered when it was going to begin. Honestly I'd pay it to be that close to OPR and the main pool.

A lot of people like walking across the bridge to get to the food court. Jamaica and Aruba are favorites. It is such a nice walk no matter where you stay at CBR.
