Best Cat 3 rooms

Please help me with my cat 3 room. I want the largest room with a jacuzzi tub. I thought it was located next to the cat 1 suites? Room numbers and reports would be helpful, Thanks

I don't have any firsthand experience with these rooms, but the midship category 3's which are larger than the others and adjacent to the category 1 rooms are 8032, 8034, 8532, and 8534.

I think these are the ones you mean.

We have stayed in both category 1 suites and have seen all 4 midship category 3 suites (8032,8034,8532.8534). These category 3's are all TERRIFIC and just as nice as the category 1's (only smaller). If you can swing the cost and manage to get one booked, you will have the vacation of a lifetime.

We were in 8048 and found it to be very noisy!! Any of the cat. 3 cabins near the middle of the ship are basically under the Goofy pool where the deck party is held. We also had a lot of noise very early (4:30am), while the crew was setting up for the day (scraping tables and chairs, rolling carts, etc.) I would not stay in any of those cabins (8046, 8048, 8546 or 8548) again. The cabin was very nice, but should have been in a different location.

We have a cat. 4, under the hair salon, booked for our 4/04 trip.

we just returned from the 7 night eastern cruise a couple of weeks ago, and had 8034. we thought it was great, and heard very little noise. moreover, we were told (by the woman who books future cruises on the ship) that the mid-ships cat 3's have the fifth bed in the living room (with the sofa bed), whereas the others have the fifth bed in the master bedroom. since we have five kids, this made a big difference to us; we hadn't known this in advance, but it would have definitely steered us towards a mid-ships cabin.
we thought the cat 3's were terrific, and while unquestionably a splurge, well worth it, both for reasons of space and the concierge service (which is a whole other story).
i'm sure you'll have a great time whenever you go and whereever you stay.
