Best Cat. 10 Rooms?

Hi all,
I've posted on DIS before but never on the cruise forum. My daughter & I have "gone overboard" and booked the repo. cruise sailing 8/20 from LA to FL!!!!! This is our 1st cruise too!!
We are so excited even though it's over 1 year away.

We know nothing about cruising so I've been reading up a little and luckily I'll have plenty of time to gather info & prepare.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a nice Cat. 10 cabin?? I've read about the "secret porthole " rooms but I think you'd have to be very lucky to get one and I've read mixed reviews about them. Any suggestions??

Since we are 2 adults which dinner seating should we go for and also which rotation or does it even matter???

We had 7003 and loved it. Deck 7 was convenient, and the end of the corridor made it very quiet.

DECk 5 hands down .. u get a porthole and dont have to pay for it... they are suppose to be deluxe inside staerooms but the 6 on deck 5 have portholes !!!!!!!!!

Hi Eileen

All staterooms for the repostioning cruises that are still available are now Guarantee Status - this means that Disney choose who is going in which stateroom.

If you were assigned a stateroom when you booked then you'll know where you are, if not, then I'm afraid you don't have a choice where you'll be, sorry!

Mobetsy- Did you feel the motion of the ship? We have never gotten seasick on smaller craft, even in rough waters but this seems to be a concern for alot of posters. I thought it would be minimal with a ship this size.

Hygiene99- Thanks for the link! Have you stayed in a secret porthole room? If so, which one?
