Best Card Games You Play?

Not poker games, but games like Uno, Rook, ........or even more complex games.

Do you mean like with real cards?? The only cards I play, not on the computer, are with DD, Go Fish, Crazy Eights, etc.

I used to love playing Uno, when DH was in the military we would play with friends for hours.

But now the only card games I play are pretty much on the computer.

Although DH and I still play the occassional Gin Rummy game.

They all require a bit of reading though (munchkin more than Fluxx and Apples to Apples)

Phase 10!!!! It's by the makers of UNO I believe, it's sort of like rummy but you play with Phase 10 cards. It's addictive, but it also takes hours to play with 6 people.

1) Euchre
2) Rook
3) 20 Punish

We play either Phase 10 or Golf. ( Phase 10 is a special set of cards like Uno and Golf is played with a regular set of solitare cards )

Hey, mom2rb--we used to love to play Shanghai Rummy with a big group of people when my ex was in the military. Is there any way you could PM me the list of what all you need to get to win? I remember there were all sorts of complex combos. I'd love to play it again.

That said, my favorites are Euchre, Spades, and Gin.

I love Canasta, but I haven't played since my grandmother was alive. She taught me to play, and we spent hours doing it when she was too sick to get out.

We are in a card club that meets monthy to play 500. I love playing that.

We love Uno Attack and we also play Setback a lot.

We play Setback too. We are from CT and that is what we call the game, when we moved to Massachusetts no one knew what "setback" was. They call it Pitch around here!!!

We like Uno, Skip Bo, and Phase 10. I used to play this really fun game with my best friends' family called Dummy Rummy- it was kind of like Phase 10, but with several decks of regular cards. There was a long list of combinations of sets and runs to get. It was super fun to play with a large group!

My daughter loves to play War. You can play with only two people and she's pretty good.
