Best Cabin Loop

We are staying Sept 23 for four nights. Currently booked at All Star Movies but want to reschedule to FW Cabins. We ar e avid campers all year long and this is a land and sea for us for we will not be driving with our camper this time.

This will be our first time at FW and our kids have mild disabilities. We like to be close buses, dining, and pools to avoid meltdowns.

We would like to stay close to new pool and don't know what loop is best.

HELP!!!!

Sorry I can't help you with the info you need, I am not that familiar with the cabin loops. But just be patient, one of the more experienced Disers will be along before to long! Welcome!

I too am heading to the cabins (in Oct) and have also been wondering about the various loops, so I am posting to keep the thread alive 'til you get some answers...

(I think I just had an epiphany -- is that why people write "bump"??? I have been wondering about that!!!)

There are 7 cabin loops. None of them are very close to the main pool. However there is continuous bus service by taking the "Orange" bus from the cabins that will drop you right near the pool.

However, there is a small quiet pool right near the cabins and the 2500 loop is closest to that pool.

Loop 2100 and 2200 are closest to the center of the campground.

If you are planning on spending much time at the Fort, you might do well to rent a cart, especially if your children's impairment is physical. The Fort is a BIG place, enough to wear out a fully-abled camper, and a cart makes getting around much easier. The only cabin loop that is somewhat close to Fort activities is 2100 and the average walk from there to the feature pool is about a half mile! The buses at the Fort are pretty efficient (IMO) but you mention meltdowns so patience may not be in great supply in your group, so I would consider the carts.

I agree with the 2 previous posters, here is some golf cart rental info, I think this would make your stay much more enjoyable.
