Yup. If you use swagbucks make sure to print/save 3 QR codes and do 3 $50 transactions. You'll get 500 sb within 3-4 business days and 100 sb through shop and earn about 30 days later for EACH $50 transaction you do in store.

I have had the check out person tell me they didn't think it was allowed but it rang up just fine. If the check out person told you no without even trying then I would go to a different Best Buy or come back later when a different person is on the register.

ETA: I had to do it in store; it wouldn't work online.

It's YMMV. Almost all stores allow you too but there are a few stores across the country like yours where the store itself has a policy in place disallowing this. If you have another best buy nearby you can always try there.

YMMV, most BBs allow but there are occasional reports of stores that don't. That person has a store that doesn't allow it and considering the description they gave it sounds set in stone for the employees at their store. ("But corporate allows it!" Doesn't matter, individual managers can still prevent you from doing this.)

Try! Don't ask just grab $150 in Disney and get rung up and then hand over your gift card. If they say no just leave the Disney cards but the odds are they'll ring you up just fine

Go to your Shop page. Find the Best Buy square. Click that and scroll down until you see the Shop in Store portion. There is a "Get Code" button. Hit that and it will generate a unique QR code linked to your account. When you shop in store and spend $50 have them scan the QR code. You will get 100 sb shop and earn credit (email within 3-4 business days, pending for 30 or so days) and a 500 sb bonus (appears in your activity 3-4 business days later). This has been working with $50 disney gift cards despite the terms stating it does not apply to gift card purchases.

The ones by me are almost always fine but the one by my sister she has to buy a candy bar with the gift cards for whatever reason. It's fine she just gives it to the kid she's babysitting but if you get shot down again try the candy bar trick.

I bought a BestBuy gift card on Raise. It says it can't be used on some closed loop gift cards. The staff at the BB tried to scan the card and then manually enter the card. Both attempts were refused by the computer. They told me Disney must be excluded.
