best bus transportation

Which resort(mod or value) has the best bus transportation ? We are going 6 nights Oct 2007. I'm wavering between Pop and POFQ?

Even though the POFQ bus shares with POR.....

POFQ is first.....so it dosen't matter.....the bus will get crowded
but YOU will have a seat....
On the way home.....POFQ....gets off 1st....

I think if you can swing it.....POFQ....is a mod....so much more
amenities than POP....

POP.....the bus service was very good.....I also liked POP....
but I would choose POfQ if I could over POP in a heartbeat...

CSR has some of thebest on all WDW property. Short rides to all the parks and not shared with any other resort. Not to mention the best pool of the mods and great food options.

to my knowledge, only 2 resorts have one bus stop at the resort and don't share with other resorts: POP and AKL.

that said, POP is a very busy resort (which always runs at 95%+ occupancy) and most guests do use the buses so seats aren't always as readily available.

between the two, i'd go with POFQ personally. depending on how filled the bus gets at POFQ, it may or may not continue on to pick up guests at POR, so that's something to keep in mind. I believe the only time it's not the first to be dropped off is when coming from DTD.

I've stayed at POR several times and don't recall ever havgin any issues with the bus services there.
However, I have had REALLY bad experiences with the Pop bus service before. On our last stay, we waited for a bus back from MK for 45 min and back from Epcot we waited 1 1/2 hrs one night. I know to expect a longer wait comeing back at night, but geez.
Since then I've read increasingly good reports about the busses there, so I can only pray that the issues have been addressed since then. At least that's what I'm hoping as we will be staying there again come the end of the month.

Thanks for the great info. I noticed you stayed at WL also. I started my reservation there, transferred to Poly (for monorail) then down to Pop when I started to consider the extra $1600 as wasteful just for a room. Now I'm considering the POFQ after the responses to my question on buses. But I can't help but ask you if you think the extra $ are worth the deluxe. The thought of a balcony is very appealing to me. But I wonder how often i would use it. We are there for 6 nights and its our first trip. How often will we be there but i want it to be convenient and fun. Ugh Thanks for any input.
