I just had gastric bypass so I will be going "bunless" when I go also. I guess we will do pilot's.

The $2.95 1/2 lb. cheeseburger at McCormick and Schmicks is a great deal and pretty good too. Its only available in the bar though. They are in the Gardenwalk just east of Harbor on Katella

The Wild Bleu Yonder burger used to be our favorite, but they don't have it anymore. Whatever you do, don't expect the angus burger at Tomorrowland Terrace to be worth eating -- it's not.

Sorry to break it to you (or maybe it's good news to break it to you!) but the Wild Bleu Yonder is definitely still on the menu at Taste Pilot's. I was there a little less than three weeks ago.

Uva Bar in DTD has great burgers - in fact, all of their food is pretty good. It also has a nice ambience in the middle of the DTD action but without the chaos of the parks. :thumbsup2

I agree with Uva Bar and Cafe burgers! I have eaten just about all the burgers on property and these are the best. The toppings are fresh and different...You can either eat at the Uva Bar or the Downstairs portion of the Catal restaurant (Cafe), which has the same menu as the bar.

Uva burger - with caramelized onion-apple wood smoked bacon relish, arugula and cave aged Gruyere cheese. $15

lamb burger - with piquillo peppers, spicy feta, arugula, lemon dill aioli, pickled red onion on a brioche bun. $15

I don't eat beef, but my husband had the burger (Angus beef) at Hungry Bear and said the meat was excellent. If you're looking for good beef, he said that the grilled steak skewer at Paradise Garden Grill was also really good meat. You can ask for it without sauce (or sauce on the side) if you want. Or do what we do, and ask for all four sauces if you want to try them all.

Very good point! If you're eating a burger "bunless" you might as well eat a better grade of beef because at that point, it's not a burger anymore. It's just a patty of ground up lower-grade beef. If cow is what you crave, get something leaner, beefier, and tastier. Get the skewers instead. *nummy!*
