Best burger

i use to go to Pesco bill for a burger but I read that has gone done hill. So where can I get an awesome burger? Quick service or table service

Oh no, really? I am going in November and one of the things I was looking forward to was going to Pesco Bill for a burger, the last one I had there was amazing!

Since they got rid of the toppings bar I read mixed reviews. So I hesitant to go. Thanks everyone for the replies. You helped me show my mom that there is a chance she may not find a great burger at Disney.

Sci-fi comes to mind. I used to like the burgers at Liberty Inn (Epcot WS - America), but I'll admit I haven't had one there for a couple years. Also I would think the Rainforest/T-Rex locations would be decent.

We all really enjoyed our burgers at Sci-Fi this trip. DH and DD got regular burgers but DM and I got the specialty one topped with pulled pork. I wish we had split it! Huge but delicious. Their milk shakes are great, too. Beaches and cream burgers:crazy2: Not impressed.

I liked my burger at the plaza. My husband said his burger at Raglan Road was good as well.

We enjoy a burger and Red Rocket Ale on the Boardwalk at Big River Grille. But only dusk or later, and only sitting outside.

DH loved the surf and turf burger from GF Cafe
Here's the description from allears.net:

Surf and Turf Burger - Angus Chuck Burger, Butter-poached Lobster, Red Onion Marmalade, and Arugula on a Brioche Bun with Chips

This sounds amazing--can't wait to try this one! We really like the Build-Your-Own Angus Chuck Burger at Sci-Fi--just what you'd want in a burger, juicy and delish!

The best burger I've had so far on my trips to Disney, hands down has been at the AMC theater in Downtown Disney (Disney Springs?). To quote the menu:

Ultimate Bacon Big Burger
This burger is completely bacon-ized with white Cheddar bacon sauce, thick-cut applewood-smoked bacon, crispy onion straws and bacon ranch dressing. 12.99

It was big, it was tasty, and it was surprisingly affordable. I went to their Fork and Screen setup and watched a movie while eating, but they may serve it in their little eatery in the lobby on the Fork and Screen side of the theater without the need to purchase a movie ticket, but on that I'm not sure. Still, an excellent and affordable burger.

Had lunch at The Wave last month and both youngest DS and I got the burger. It was delicious!!!! I'm not a huge burger fan in general but every once in a while am just in the mood for a good burger--so it better be a GOOD burger! Really enjoyed it there. It's also a build your own thing. I had caramelized onions and cheddar cheese (real cheddar cheese, not that plasticy stuff you often get!). He had candied bacon and cheese. We'd both definitely get them again!

ESPN was our best

I don't know if ESPN still has the Peanut Butter & Jelly Burger, but it was surprisingly good! Sounds strange but all the flavors somehow did their thing.

BACON ... if they do serve outside of the theater then I'm all over it!

It's funny, I think WDW CS burgers are some of the best in the industry. We go to Busch Gardens Williamsburg regularly, and I can barely manage to eat their burgers. Kings Dominion is the same. One of the many things our family loves about WDW is that their counter is so good compared to other places we have been. My DS and I are both picky eaters, so we eat ALOT of burgers. Whenever we look at menus as a family, everybody looks at me and I always say if they have a burger we can eat there. I think the adult chicken nuggets are pretty good too.

That said, this next trip we are trying Sci Fi and The Plaza, so I'm looking forward to a better burger. I'm still working on getting a ressie for Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, waiting for them to open up ressies again.

I normally wouldn't consider quick service burgers, but given the limited food options at HS, I gave in and had an Angus Bacon Cheeseburger with Onion Straws at the Backlot Express--I actually really enjoyed it and would definitely consider it again. I have no other QS burger recommendations since all other times over the past 30+ years have not been notable.

I'd have to say that the overall quality of a counter service burger has improved. On our recent trip, they were all good, we didn't have one that was bad. One was actually real good, but I can't remember where it was. Now, when I say good, I'm talking a 5.5 on a scale of 1-10. Nothing bad about it.
