Best Buffet in 192/Osecala Parkway area

My DD 11, just loves buffets. We'll be staying offsite at Orange Lake which is on west end of the 192 corridor. Can anyone suggest a good buffet restaurant in that area. Ideal buffet would have beef carving station (we're not seafood lovers). Thanks, Jo

I personally don't rate any of the buffets in that direct area (but I will admit I haven't tried them all) - I just find them so-so. If I wanted to go for a buffet, I would head to Gaylord Palms, they have a great Mediterranean buffet or to Animal Kingdom Lodge for Boma. But I am interested in other recommendations too!

Just had a recommendation for CiCis Pizza near the mini-golf at 192/Formosa. Looking forward to trying that next time.

I love Mr Kong's Chinese in that area - not a buffet, but they are great (and also deliver to the surrounding area including Windsor Palms, Emerald Island Formosa etc.

In Gaylord, we had a great time in Sam's Fish Camp. We managed to get there on a quiet week and they had a band, face painting, balloon twister. Because there were so few people in, our kids got a great deal of attention from them.

Other favorite stops in the area are TGI Fridays and Outback. Next trip, I have vowed to try all new restaurants and shows just to find other things we like!

There are two Golden Corral locations in that area and I think they have a very good buffet. Anyway the 1st one is at 7702 W. IRLO BRONSON HWY and the other one is at 6077 W. IRLO BRONSON MEM.

I was also going to suggest Golden Corral, but they do not have a carving station. They do cook bacon wrapped steak to order every night. My MIL loves this because she likes rare meat and they will give it to her that way. I really like the cakes and desserts here. It isn't too expensive here either. Right in the lobby, they have discount coupon books and there will likely be one that gives either 10% off or a certain dollar amount off.

Golden Corral - definitely - but not the one in Kissimmee - the one in LBV is little better - it is off 535.

if you are driving use 429 to get off florida turnpike - will save you about an hour.

Did CeCe's open a new place in the Formosa/192 area? We went to the one down on 192 last visit, and the food was ok but the resturant was pretty beat and not too well cared for. TIA for the update. Grammy

We like Golden Corral also. There's a new one in the Celebration area on 192, probably the one mentioned above at 6077 on 192.

We're a fan of the Golden Corral chain, so that was going to be one of our choices down in Florida. Some of them are better than others, but on the whole, they're quite good, and relatively inexpensive.
