best breakfast?

Cape May character breakfast without a doubt! We've done all of the others beside Tusker House, which we will be doing this trip... And Cape May beats them all hands down!

Character - Tusker House
non-character - Kona

My DBF is not a breakfast person so we're only doing one sit down breakfast as a TS (I'll be doing QS for most the trip) and since he's not interested in character meals it's Kona all the way!

OK - so if I could only choose one breakfast for a trip, it would probably be Crystal Palace. The character interaction is pretty good, the food is pretty good...but the main reason is that we do an early ADR to get in the park early.

However, the BEST breakfast in terms of character interaction has been Ohana for us. Pluto and Stitch are the best...they have always stopped by our table multiple times and really got into it with the kids.

In terms of food, Ohana is also really good. It is nice that it is not a buffet and they bring the food to your table. And it's VERY tasty. The juice is also quite good.

Kona is another good choice if you are just in it for the food...and coffee. The tonga toast is good...the macadamia nut pancakes are good...its all good.

Now, I would also be remiss if I did not mention Tusker House. It has really nice character interaction - Daisy is a plus...And the food is very good. And different than what you might find at other breakfast places. This also gets you in AK a little early and right near the safari.

Yeah, you should probably do all of these.

For a character breakfast, our favorite is Crystal Palace. The food is fine (which works for us as we aren't huge breakfast eaters anyway, so finding one or two tasty options in the entire buffet is all we need). But the character interaction was great and my girls loved it. Next time I hope to try 1900 PF or Akershus because they love princesses (I think CRT is too overpriced for what you get. I ate in the castle many times growing up when it was King Stefan's Banquet Hall and don't think my kids would love the surroundings so much that it's worth the price...it's the characters they want to see).

For a regular TS breakfast, we LOVED Kona Cafe. The Tonga Toast was great, and my kids couldn't get enough of the pancakes and french toast they ordered. Plus, how can I say no to a good cup of coffee at Disney? :-)

I love an early morning ADR @ CP. It's neat to see Main Street empty and a great chance to get pictures. The food at CP and the character interaction is decent, too, and we always seem to have good service there. I'm not a huge fan of buffets, but this one is OK.:thumbsup2

For a more relaxed start to the day, breakfast at Kouzzina is unparalleled. Great food, nice service--DH and I try to have breakfast there at least once a trip. Oh, the French press pot coffee---yummy! Now you've got me thinking of breakfasts---:goodvibes. They also have a pastry basket that is exquisite.....oh good grief, I need to go think of something else:wizard:

Another vote for Kona at the Poly--Tonga Toast!!!

As far as characters go I would do Tusker House.

Another vote for Kona - amazing breakfast! Even something as simple as scrambled eggs were absolutely delish - best eggs I've ever had. Not to mention everything else.....

:thumbsup2

Our favorite character buffet was actually Hollywood & Vine for the food! The character interaction was pretty good as well, but I realize not everyone has kids that age.

The best breakfast at WDW is at the Grand Floridian Cafe. You can get steak and eggs, eggs benedict with lobster sauce, mickey pancakes, etc. No Disney Characters, but it has a light and airy cafe feel, plus you can get a decent cup of coffee! Have fun selecting your "best" breakfast spot.
