Hello DISers!!!

My family and I are visiting the World for two days (sad I know!!) and on the second day we would like to do a breakfast outside of the parks. So, I'm wondering where the best place is to go? We will have 6 adults and 2 children with us (3 and 1) but we aren't really looking for character breakfasts. We have been to Kona Cafe before and liked it (yummy Tonga toast!). We don't really want to go to 'Ohana because we don't want to take up that much time since we are visiting for such a short amount of time. So, with all that in mind, where would you suggest we go?

TIA!!! :goodvibes

I really love Kona. But some others i'd suggest are: Boma at the AKL and the Grand Floridian Cafe.

We still love the Crystal Palace for breakfast. Get an early ADR and you should finish your meal right around the time the park opens. You are already half way into the park and can knock out a bunch of attractions in the next few hours. It is also great to be in the park before it opens. You can get some great pictures in front of the castle. Enjoy.

I wrote a blog post about my "Crystal Palace Strategy." Hope it helps.

Good luck and have a great trip.

I know you don't care for characters but 1900 Park Fare was the best breakfast I have ever had on property. I also liked Boma coming in at second.

Thank you everyone! I'd really like to try Boma since so many people have said good things about it. Is there food that children would like too?

Boma is great and yes, there are "traditional" items for children, although my kids really liked some of the different options on the buffet when they were younger. A great way for them to try new things.

Our favorite non-character, non-buffet breakfast in all of Disney World is at Kouzzina. Great food, nice atmosphere and usually good service. The portions were very generous, too.

Another vote for Boma, great breakfast!!!!
