I am planning at trip for next June. My husband has NEVER been to Disney world and I am trying to plan so that he has a good time and understands why I need to go back as often as possible!

He loves breakfast so I want to make sure we have one great breakfast out even though we are camping and will probably do cereal and stuff most mornings.

It's just the two of us so characters aren't necessary but not a bad thing either.

Where should I take him? Where is your favorite place for breakfast?

Thanks!

I tend to categorize my food so here it goes...

"Best Buffet"- Boma

"Best Character meal"- Crystal Palace MK (although I have heard great things about Chef Mickey's)

"Best Sit Down Meal"- Kona Cafe

"Best Bakery Breakfast"- Main street tied with Boardwalk

"Best Cs"- Sunshine seasons in EPCOT

Our favorite breakfast is 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. It's a character buffet. They have lobster eggs benedict.-so good. We ate at Boma, that was in AKL and it had great food but no characters. Ohana at Poly is a good breakfast if you dont want to get out of your seat for a buffet, they bring it to you (family style), not much varitey. I'm making my future DH happy by finding out that his favorites bisquits and gravy are at Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace character buffets. It's just us two adults but it's so fun to say hi and get a picture w/ the characters. There's also another place, Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge that sounds good, you can get a skillet which has a few different foods like Ohana, family style or you can order individual things off the menu.

To help you decide I would suggest looking at their menus, and also picking one that will work well with which park you're going to in the morning.

My vote is for 1900 Park Fare, but really all the places are great!

BOMA wins my vote. awesome breakfast and great atmosphere at AKL...

Boma is also our favorite. It has become our traditional breakfast for the morning that we leave WDW to drive home. The buffet at Boma includes a lot of great, traditional breakfast items -- great fresh fruit and some wonderful pastries --- and a few items with an African "flair".

Kona would probably be our 2nd favorite.

If you are coffee lovers, then Boma and Kona have absolutely the best coffee. At either place, you can order a press pot that is absolutely delicious. A Kenyan grind at Boma, and a Kona (surprise!) grind at Kona. You have to order the press pot, though. Simply asking for "coffee" doesn't get you the good stuff.

Boma is the best breakfast in the entire WDW....followed by Kona and Cape May. Tons of pics of all three in my April link

I would say the best character breakfast is the crystal palace. However, IMO the best breakfast in general is the grand floridian cafe. They have chocolate chip pancakes that are to die for! and lots of other tasty things too;) And if I'm not mistaken (and please forgive me if i am because i have a really bad sense of direction) the camp grounds aren't too far from the GF, are they?

About how many cups of coffee are in a press pot?

My favorite place for breakfast is Boatrights at POR. I have to go there every trip. The service is great and the food is really good too. I love the New Orleans Lost Bread. YUM!

CP for buffet TS
sit down kona TS
main st bakery "Turn overs" yummmmmmmmm
pepper market QS

It is a toss up for me - CP or Boma. We try to go to each twice each trip. Both are yummy. Puffed french toast at CP and raisin bread french toast at Boma along with their juice. Just thinking about it makes me hungry.
