We're meeting a couple of friends in September for breakfast before we leave for our cruise. What's the best place for adults to get together for breakfast & chat over a meal?

We've all been to WDW multiple times, so we don't need to do Cindy's or anything. Can be in or out of the park as we'll also have APs

My personal favorite is the Yacht Club Galley. They have a nice buffet or you can order from the menu. It is has never been busy when we have been, and has always been a pretty relaxing start to the day.

I have been told that Spoodles at the Boardwalk is awesome during breakfast. I haven't been able to experience it personally but I have a friend that loves it.

While I love Kona and Main St. Bakery, I have to say that the best breakfast (I'm a total breakfast nut) is at Fresh at The Dolphin. Made-to-order everything, plus a great buffet. It's crazy, but less "buffet-y" than most buffets.

Spoodles is nice. Also Kona or Boatwrights.
Maya Grill has a nice breakfast buffet, isn't very crowded, and would be a great spot for a "chat"!

I would choose Boma buffer breakfast at AKL. You can spend as much time as you want talking and keep going up for food.

Absolutely - Boma is wonderful! The food is amazing. It is a buffet style, which I am generally not a fan of (I feel like cattle?), but this one is really wonderful, with tons of choices and made to order omelettes. If you go, definitely get the "frunch" - a delicious fruit punch, that we actually try to duplicate at home for Sunday morning breakfasts. Besides the food, the surrounding is wonderful, very relaxing. The service is great - they won't rush you at all. And after breakfast you can go out back to Arusha Rock and view the animals at the Lodge. It's almost "breakfast and a show". Have fun!

Boma - if you want a buffett
Spoodles - if you dont, had a yummy poached egg over sausage and veggies - YUM!

FRESH at the Dolphin is my favorite breakfast in WDW (or in the area). I love the "made to order" food. The food is very good. It is a buffet. The atmosphere is very mixed, families, business folks, etc so it's a great place for an adult breakfast. I also love that they have "brunch" on the weekends (or it may be just Sunday now). They serve breakfast items until 2! The only place in WDW that serves breakfast past 11:30!

We do also like Spoodles for breakfast (forget dinner). The only neg there is that the service always seems slow, the servers always seem overwhelmed. We were there our past trip and had ADR's for 9:45 on a Sunday morrning. The CM said good thing because it was a 45 min. wait for walk-ins and honestly there were LOTS of empty tables. They seemed to be understaffed? The food was good and if you don't mind sitting a while it's a good place to have a relaxing breakfast.

Spoodles has wonderful French toast!

Boma is also great; excellent food, and as an above poster said you can go out and see the animals after breakfast. I love the AKL anyway. :sunny:
