Will be staying at Disneyland hotel, looking for a good place to have breakfast. Character interaction is not important, we go to WDW every year and meet more characters then we can handle. I want to stay on property, any suggestions?

At the Disneyland Hotel, there is this little coffee place (I think it's called coffee corner, or something like that) They serve coffee and breakfast to go.... They have the best bagels and yoghurt. It's cheap, delicious and easy. They have tables and chairs outside, so you can eat your breakfast there or eat it while you go through Downtown Disney :-)

If you're looking for a nicer table service breakfast, believe it or not, Steakhouse 55 is great. We've eaten breakfast there twice and really enjoyed the food and quiet atmosphere. Here is a link to the menu, if interested. DW liked the eggs benedict and DS and I loved the french toast with bananas foster topping. No characters here.

I second the Carnation Cafe recommendation! I also recall reading that Rainforest Cafe serves breakfast.

If you want something quick, the Blue Ribbon Bakery has great muffins, pastries, and coffee. I love grabbing a blueberry muffin and caramel latte before waiting for rope drop!

When we stayed on site we ate breakfast at La Brea Bakery and Rainforest Cafe. They are in DTD, so are on the way to the parks and both had pretty good food! In DLR, we always stop for Mickey pancakes at Riverbelle Terrace!

I second the Steakhouse at DLH recommendation. Best breakfast I've had on property! We've tried Carnation Cafe on Main Street and weren't that excited about it; I prefer that place for lunch or dinner. When we want quick and inexpensive breakfast food in the parks, we do Tomorrowland Terrace. I call it a "fast food type" breakfast, but I haven't seen the new menu since they reopened so don't know if it's the same. We have eaten at Riverbelle Terrace as well, and that's ok, more for the location and because we're hungry and can use a break. I always feel like the pancakes taste like they're made from Bisquick, and they appear to keep getting smaller. I actually enjoy sitting in the Pacific Wharf area in DCA sometimes and getting the egg and bacon bread bowl. DH gets the egg croissant sandwich and DS8 and DS10 get a pastry to share. That's usually a quiet relaxing way to have a late breakfast.

Thanks for the response. I am clueless when it comes to Disneyland. WDW I could roam around blindfolded and find my way to all my favorite spots, DLR not so much.

For the Riverbelle terrace, are reservations needed?

There is a Jamba Juice in DTD and they have great smoothies and oatmeal & muffins if you are looking to grab something fast. We were really impressed with it when we stumbled upon it last year.

We are going to shoot for Storytellers at GC this year as we have never done it. I love my breakfast...I could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also second the Riverbelle Terrace.

We love the Jazz Kitchen Express in Downtown Disney for breakfast the beignets are delicious. It's close to the DLH too! Enjoy! :goodvibes

Wow..I did not know Steakhouse 55 had breakfast :)
Rainforest Cafe is nice, White Water Snacks at the Grand has a really good breakfast burrito, La Brea has a nice quiche, and in DLR I like River Belle Terrace.

My favorite breakfast in DL would be, Carnation Cafe, with Riverbelle Terrace running second. I would reccomend priority seating for the Carnation Cafe.
Outside of the park Steakhouse 55 at the DL hotel would be my next choice. However, I do like a good breakfast buffet so again at the DL Hotel, Goofy's Kitchen.
My guys are big eaters there favorite breakfast is outside the resort on Harbor Blvd. International House Of Pancakes. This location is open before the parks. It is one of the only breakfast options that allows you time to get in line at the gate before the park opens and hit the parks before lines start forming.
:tink:

I've never thought to eat breakfast at DCA, thanks for the great suggestion! :goodvibes

And the Jazz Kitchen sounds so yummy, will have to check this out too! :thumbsup2

I never knew Steakhouse 55 had breakfast either- but now I want to eat there next trip, it sounds good and so does the Jazz Kitchen! I am like KCMike, I would eat breakfast, brunch, and brinner if I could!

Have not seen anyone mention tomorrow land terrace. That is our favorite for MM days, as we can finish MM, grab a fast pass at SM, eat and then head to the "other side". :)

Tomorrowland Terrace has been closed for a refurb for the last few months. I think it is scheduled to open July 2. :confused3 Not sure if the menu will change.

We were at DLR last week Sat-Tues. The walls around Tomorrowland Terrace were down, and they were serving breakfast for CMs only. I read on another website that TT opened to everyone a couple days after we left. I still haven't seen a menu yet either.
