Best breakfast not inside a park

We are staying at the All-Star sports resort so scratch eating at the hotel :-)
We actually designed our day off to travel around to a couple of the different hotels that we haven't seen. We do plan some pool time there as well as another evening because the parks are closing early due to the Mickey Halloween party

Got it! I do think Cape May would be fun, then walk around the Boardwalk after to walk some of the food off. Grab an ice cream (small cone is a snack credit at the new ice cream shop).

Of course, then AKL is also appealing, since you could spend time looking at the animals.

Also any of the monorail resorts would be fun! The Grand Floridian has a nice quiet sit down restaurant that you wouldn't even likely need ADR's for (think it's the GF Cafe?). Then ride the monorail around a bit? Kind of fun.

Our favorite breakfast is the Ohana Lilo and Stitch breakfast in the Polynesian hotel. We're vegetarians and their accommodations are perfect. Usually they bring out a giant pan of eggs, sausage , bacon, but for us they bring out mickey waffles, hash browns, and tons of fresh fruit. Their special Ohana juice is great, its a blend of passion fruit and mangos that I can't seem to find at any store.

I am not a breakfast person. I like going Captain Cooks. I can get Tonga Toast for less than it is at Kona. It's quick and filling. It's the one breakfast place I look forward to.

Kona (Love the macadamia pancakes)
Whispering Canyon (love the skillet)
Cape May - Best non park character buffet
Boma - Best non character, non park buffet and great if you want something different

Our new #1 is The Wave. The buffet was so much better than any buffet we have ever been to. You can also choose to order a la carte, if you prefer. We also ate at Kona and had nothing bad to say...and we did not eat Tonga Toast :) Of the two, I would go out of my way to go to The Wave again.

We ate at Olivia's for the first time a few weeks ago. We enjoyed it, but while we were eating we all agreed that we like Kona better. We also ate at Boma for the first time in quite a few years. It was as good as I remember it being. A few others that we enjoy are The Wave because of the sweet potato pancakes and the Grand Floridian Café.

Trails End is my favorite. Plus you can try the different transportation options to get there. Take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and a boat to Fort Wilderness. On the return trip. Take a boat to the Contemporary and the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.

My second choice would be The Wave.

All this talk about Boma being the best Breakfast buffet made me go see if we could squeeze in a visit when we are there next month- and there was an opening!
Excited!
