Best breakfast in WDW?

Our favorites:

Crystal Palace - awesome photo ops and the breakfast lasagna is DIVINE!

Kona - Kona press pot and Tonga Toast. Again, divine. Tonga Toast can also be had downstairs at Captain Cook's for a CS credit. Perfect size to split.

Boma - almost as good as Boma dinner! Kenyan press pot.

My DD also votes for the Mickey waffles in Liberty Square but I cannot personally vouch for them.

I vote for GF Cafe and Kona

Tonga Toast is wonderful at Kona, but GF has a good French toast and lobster eggs benedict.

I like Crystal palace because of the fruit section. Some places have tons of eggs, eggs and more eggs...ton of bacon, and other tasty treats made of fats.
It comes out of my pores when i leave. Its nice to have such a great fruit display. Its different than most others. Although many restaurants at Disney have wonderful and entertaining breakfast but how many ways can you make eggs. Its nice to have a healthy breakfast at times.

My favorite breakfast is at Kouzzina by Cat Cora. Really amazing choices there. The stack is my favorite, but my husband really enjoyed the orange granola pancakes.

It's Kona Cafe for us, too! My DW and I always try for at least one breakfast on every trip (one dinner, too.) :thumbsup2 Macademia nut pancakes are a favorite and even their coffee is better that the WDW standard Nescafe even if you don't order the press pot of Kona. :goodvibes

I also vote for Kona or the cafe at POFQ - for the beignets!!! I wish Boatwrights was still open for breakfast they had the best sweet potato pancakes.

I think the best breakfast we have had yet was in Cinderella's castle...it is not a buffet, but they will bring you more of whatever you want. It's really pretty in the castle and it's not as hectic as some of the buffets are.

Just made ADR's for BOMA, will be leaving for MK in 44 days

:cool1::hippie:

Kona Cafe. Big Kahuna, Tonga Toast or the Pineapple Macadamia Nut Pancakes and Lilikoi Juice!!

Kona and Boma are both great. I don't usually like buffets but there are so many things at Boma that I wanted to sample. (And did.) Loved the Tonga Toast at Kona but it nearly sent me into a sugar coma.

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

We have never done a breakfast in Disney that didn't consist of shoving food in our mouths at a CS before hitting the parks!

But I have heard great things about Boma, Crystal Palace, Kona Cafe, and even the character interaction at 1900 PF has gotten good reviews.

I'm planning on trying Crystal Palace this upcoming trip, a late breakfast, if DH and I can manage to get our butts out of bed earlier than 10am on vacation!!

:rotfl:

Nothing fancy, but we are big fans of MSB... oh the cinnamon buns!!!

Kona or Boma

I have done breakfast at GF Cafe and I wasn't bowled over, maybe I hit it on a bad morning. I will give it another go next time I am staying there.

If you are into eggs, our vote is for O'Hana! My Dh and I swear that they have the best eggs we have ever eaten!! :thumbsup2

If you are near the poly you can't beat the Kona Cafe. Serves breakfast until about 11:30. If in the Magic Kingdom try the Nestle cafe (can't remember exact name) in Liberty Square. We had the Mickey waffles and the family went nuts over them.

We LOVED Boma for b'fast in August! It will be a repeat for sure. Well-prepared "American" b'fast foods, several "African-influenced" offerings, and a carving station with both ham and turkey- for breakfast!

Crystal Palace made me sad. Usually it is a big hit and a favorite restaurant of ours, but in August it was just plain... tired? NO breakfast lasagne, and nothing too imaginative on the buffet. We were really disappointed in both the offerings and the quality. It's too bad... we used to LOVE CP until this trip.

We find the breakfast offerings too sweet at Kona Cafe; everything is stuffed or flavored or something. It's just too much for us at breakfast- but we LOVE Kona for dinner!

We think Cinderella's castle is WAAAAAYYYYY too expensive for both food and interaction!

For a character meal Crystal Palace, otherwise I'd pick Kouzzina at the Boardwalk or Kona at the Polynesian. I've also heard very good things about Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
