Best Breakfast in the World??

The Wave at CR has topped our list of favorite breakfasts now. Everything is made from scratch. My dd is in love with their biscuits. :), they are perfect and she's picky! We were told they make them from scratch and I definitely believe that!

I agree with the Wave...it's kind of incognito too. No big crowds, quieter...great for an adult meal. I've had the omelet and it's fabulous (real eggs :scared1:)...it was probably the best breakfast we've had at WDW. The coffee is great too.

Another vote here for Kouzzina. Great food in a lovely setting. I recommend taking a table outside on the BoardWalk and enjoying the beautiful few of the entire Epcot area.

I probably like Boma even more, but I realize you did not include the Animal Kingdom Lodge in your original specifications.

Bonfamilles at Port...never mind.
Spoodles at BW...never mind.
Tony's at MK...oops...
Concourse at CR...sorry, gone too.........

How about Captain's Grille (aka Yacht Club Galley) at the Yacht Club. Nice and quiet, ressie is never a problem, order off the menu or do the buffet. The crab cake benedict is very good.

What about Cape May? It's pretty quiet for a character breakfast...I heard. Going for the first time in Dec. :)

So DH and I did some menu checking this weekend and we ended up going for GF cafe for the breakfast. The lobster egss benedict did it for me and DH is excited to try the maple vanilla french toast - which is interesting because they both had some positive shout outs in this thread!

But.......with all the chatter about Boma - we are discussing adding Boma to our last day for breakfast and paying OOP. We are both huge breakfast eaters - so I consider this option a win win! ;)

We have both been to the World many many times and we are trying all new restaurants this trip - so we are pretty excited about all the new experiences.

Thanks everyone!

Here's another vote for Crystal Palace. I am not a fan of buffets but I really like the food. I don't think you have to be a Winnie the Pooh fan to enjoy the lovely restaurant atmosphere and good food. Really good orange juice too.

Another vote for Crystal Palace. I love the pancake station and the fresh fruit, but my secret favorite are the donuts on the kid's buffet. :rolleyes1

My two favorites are the Kona Cafe and The Grand Floridian Cafe

The menu at Kouzzinna looks great - we have a ADR there for breakfast in February.

My vote is Cape May if you want characters. Foods Ok and its not as crazy as some others.

For straight food I agree with the GF Cafe.

You will not be dissapointed!:thumbsup2

Kona Cafe in the Poly makes a fantastic breakfast. Their juice is very yummy and I loved the steak and eggs. One of the best steaks I got while on our honeymoon. We can't wait to go back in February!

We really like to have breakfast at Kona Cafe on MK or resort-hop day. This is probably our favorite breakfast! Try the Kona coffee!

Main Street bakery is awesome if you just want a pastry, and don't worry it won't fillyou up! My son and DW share cinnamon roll! I like the cheese danish!

We also like Rain Forest for breakfast on AK day.

Best breakfast food is Grand Floridain cafe
Best breakfast buffet is Boma (great juice and coffee and the Best selection of food and eggs made to order)
Best breakfast character is Tusker House

Boma is my absolute hands down favorite breakfast, but the lobster eggs benedict at GF Cafe is to die for also.

We love it too! It's just hard for us to find the time to trek over there for breakfast!

We do another meal there.

Sorry, but the best breakfast at WDW is the bacon, eggs, toast and coffee my DH makes at SSR.

I would much rather go out for lunch or dinner and have breakfast in the room. When I go out for breakfast, I tend to eat a lot of sickly sweet stuff, and I find myself starving only a couple of hours later.

The only breakfast I've really loved at WDW (other than DH's cooking) was the one they used to have at the Garden Grill in the Land. Mmmmm, was that good. Strawberries and cream, homemade biscuits, delicious!
