Welcome to the Dis Ron! I would like to recommend 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. It's a pretty place, I thought the food was fresher than most buffets(they'll cook eggs to order), and the characters are Pooh, Alice, and Mary Poppins
Boma at the AKL has a wonderful breakfast buffet. It has all the standard food along with some different items which some are very good. They also have a made to order omelet station with fixin's of your choice.
Another vote for 1900 Park Fare at GF. It has THE best and freshest breakfast buffet, served in a charming and elegant atmosphere. We were very impressed.
Our day at AK always begins with breakfast at Donald's breakfastosaurus....restaurantosaurus?....whatever, you know what I mean. I don't know, my kids aren't little any more, so maybe this affects my choice.but I think it is just such a kinder, gentler character breakfast. . Chef Mickey's has always given me a headache! (What a loud, noisy mess!)
We love arriving at beautiful AK while the dew is still on the jungle foliage and being ushered past the masses waiting for the park to open, down to Dinosaur Land. It's not such a rambling buffet line, so I think it would be much easier to manage with very little ones, the character interaction is great, and the servers are full of fun.
You finish breakfast and you're already inside the park, first in line for the rides!
Boma at AKL has a wonderful breakfast buffet. No characters but really good food! Eggs made to order whether you want omelets or over easy. The house juice is great too.
Donald's Prehistoric Breakfastosaurus in AK is fun. And as auntpolly stated, if you are an early arriver with PS, you can be ushered past the crowd waiting for the park to open and enjoy the view as you pass the Tree of Life without all the crowd. It's nice to take a few pictures at this time without strangers getting in the way of your lens.
Both places are about the same price. And IMOHO good!
We always find time each trip for the breakfast buffet at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. The characters are Goofy, Chip, Dale and sometimes Minnie. I have found this buffet not to be as loud and hectic as some of the others.
Breakfast at Spoodle's is very good also. While it is not a buffet, they do have an all you can eat platter.
My very favorite is Crystal Palace. The restaurant is pretty and the characters are great. I LOVE the puffy French toast. Next trip we plan on going here twice.
No one on here ever mentions the buffet at Coranado Springs. It's $12.99 and the selection is quite good. We hopped a 'SPECIAL' bus over there in the morning, they'll take you anywhere you wanna go.
The new FRESH buffet at the Dolphin is excellent!!! DD and I ate here for breakfast last Dec. and they have made-to-order pancakes and french toast, as well as eggs. There is freshly-squeezed fruit and veg. juice, and what seemed like dozens of different pastries!!
Chef Mickey's for me at CR is great. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Chip & Dale have all been there when I have been. Plus great food and lots of choices.
I agree with auntpolly. They have a make to order omelet station and other great selections! You don't feel rushed and the servers are really funny!

Can you tell me more about it? Is it at Maya Grill or Pepper Market? I will be staying there and hadn't heard about it...also, do you know the hours for breakfast?
Thanks

Our absolute favorite breakfast is definitely Crystal Palace at the MK. I love Tigger, but the food here is great! It is my hubby's favorite spot for breakfast. It's also great to get pics in front of the castle before the park opens!
We also love Donald's Breakfastasaurus at AK. The characters are fun here & the food is yummy, too. We usually do EE at AK & get in the safari & some other attractions early in the morning - then opt for a late breakfast here. It seems less crowded at this time, too.
On our upcoming trip we will be trying Cape May's breakfast - we love their dinner & have heard some great reviews for the breakfast. We may also try Boma - I'd love to check out the AKL & it always gets such great reviews.
HTH - good luck making a decision - there are too many great restaurants to choose from!
We love the Trail's End at Fort Wilderness Campground. It's very good and the cheapest in the World ($9.99 per adult). When you're done it's only a short boat ride to MK.
