Best Breakfast/Brunch at WDW

I am a HUGE breakfast/brunch fan so all of these suggestions are appreciated! I am hoping/praying we get Crystal Palace reservations but these seem super difficult to get!

If you're looking for unique, interesting foods, Tusker House is great. They also have standard breakfast fare as well. You can even get the ROL package and reserved seating for ROL that night. Oh, and characters! It's a win, win, win, IMO.

I love (roughly in order of preference):

Sweet Potato Pancakes at the Wave (and they have an optional buffet if you have a big appetite). Walk there from the magic kingdom!

Tonga toast at Kona.

'Ohana is my favorite character breakfast: lilo, stitch, Mickey in an aloha shirt. All you can eat, but not buffet, so you won't miss characters.

Breakfast lasagna at Crystal Palace. But if you're not into Winnie the Pooh, it probably isn't worth that big a chunk of your MK time.

Boma is a wonderful buffet with some African flavor, but plenty of standard breakfast food to fill you up too. Kinda hard to get to on Disney buses, but should be easier with animal kingdom's newly extended hours.

Captain's Grille is delicious, but really hard to get to from pop on Disney buses before park opening. You kinda have to beg a bus driver to take you there.

Cape May is equally difficult to get to. And the breakfast food is boring. Equally boring to 'ohana, but I prefer family style over buffet.

Whispering Canyon has a nice all-you-can-eat breakfast skillet and yummy banana-bread French toast, but tricky to get to before magic kingdom opens. But once the boats start running, the trip to Wilderness Lodge is a joy!

Grand Floridian has boring but well-prepared breakfast food, and the park fair buffet is an easy way to meet Mary Poppins. The Grand Floridian cafe seems to have the same food, but made to order.

Oh, and lastly Olivia's at Old Key West. Key Lime hollandaise! Probably not worth long bus rides from Pop.

Add in the cafeteria-style food at the value resorts, and that's all the breakfast food I've ever eaten at Disney! I love it all (except for those cafeterias)!

Crystal palace or garden grill depending if you are in MK or Epcot.

Both have god character interaction and good food. CP is just a beautiful place to boot

Character, or not???

Without characters - definitely the Wave - very classy for a small buffet!

I was disappointed in our breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe this past week. My Eggs Benedict were terrible, hard cooked yolks (should have called them hard boiled). My son's waffle was hard.

I'm sure someone has asked this question before but as I am rapidly approaching our ADR reservation window (this Monday) where is the best place to eat breakfast/brunch at WDW?

I am open to suggestions...whether it be at hotel or in park! Also, it's our first time visiting WDW!
Tusker House in Animal Kingdom is my favorite.

We love Tusker House. Now that The Wave is offering bottomless mimosas it might become my new fav :rotfl2:

+1 for Crystal Palace!

Although I'm somewhat hijacking this thread, is there are buffet breakfast in one of the parks that anyone would recommend that doesn't have characters? I love the crystal palace breakfast but I'm taking a solo trip in March 2018 and don't want to do character dining, but would love to have a buffet breakfast on one day.

We love the buffet at the Swan for breakfast. They don't have characters every day, and the food is wonderful.

Trail's End does a brunch buffet every Saturday/Sunday.

It's really good! They have smoked bacon sliced to order and smoked turkey carved to order as well.

Plus that delicious fried chicken, and all the breakfast staples.

I think it depends on what you're looking for. The breakfast we had at Chef Mickey's is my favorite memory of our entire trip with our toddler, but you might be looking for something different. I will say, though, the (buffet) food was pretty good there! Exceeded expectations.

Another vote for Boma - so delicious, and a great mix of savoury and sweet items!
