Boatwrights and that Blueprint Omlette. A 3 egg omlette, and unlike most spots (where you get a choice of 3 or so ingredients) here you can get any- or- all 13. Including bacon, ham, sausage, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, peppers, spinach, and 4 different kinds of cheese.
YUM!!

Runner up-the Big Kahuna at Kona cafe. A little of everything--eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, potatoes. Quite good and very filling. And Kona coffee, of course.

Second runner-up-Ocie's Homestyle Special at Olivia's. This is 2 poached eggs served over a "hash" made from diced ham, diced potatoes, and diced sweet potatoes. A different sort of taste, and quite good!

Haven't tried Boatwrights, but I agree that Kona Cafe has WONDERFUL breakfasts!

Thanks again for a mouth-watering review.

;) Don't know quite how you and Mrs. U can appear so slender in your picture - did you hire actors for that, or do you only eat when you are at WDW?!?! ;) Just kidding, of course!

We love kona for breakfast but haven't tried Boatwrights either. Is it easy to park there?

The blueprint omlette sounds great! I will have to give it a try. We really enjoyed Donald's Breakfastasourus with their many different egg choices a few weeks ago.

Parking is no problem. Not being a monorail resort, they aren't fanatic about visitor parking. We just tell the guard at the gate we're there for breakfast, and then right on in. No 3 hour parking pass, either.

Thanks Uncleromulus-

Great Reviews. I am leaving in 4 hours for Star Wars weekend!!! I will return the favor and review when I get back. I don't think we're going any place new however...we're saving that for July.

Suggestion- have you tried the breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe? They have excellent choices. I favor their veggie frittata, turkey sausage, and DH likes the eggs benedict. They also have great fruit and granola, for a light breakfast.

You're making me hungry!

Funny you should mention the GFC. We were gioing to try that onour last morning, but the nite before , we got a call that one of our dogs had injured his back.
So it was home immediately.
In Sept. I think we'll skip Kona and go to the Grand Floridian for bkfst on our MK day.

Grand Floridian Cafe is an excellent place for Breakfast or Lunch!!!!!!!!!!!! We were there in January with our son for lunch and it was wonderful.

Hands down, best breakfast has got to be BOMA. Yes, it is a buffet, but there are so many different kinds of food that you will not find anywhere else. And everything is wonderful...from the exotic juice to the absolutely wonderful coffee. There is something for everyone, from the exotic to the sublime. You can't go wrong here, and the decor and atmosphere are wonderful!

Hope your dog is OK!

Two more questions if you don't mind. Do you make a PS and do you know if they serve as early as 7:30? Thanks.

Thanks for the great reviews. It's nice to see some reviews for breakfast at WDW. We ate breakfast at Kona Cafe for the first time on our last trip and really liked it, my wife loved the tonga toast. We have made a ps for Boatwrights on our next trip, it will be our first time eating there.

Thanks for the reviews!

We also thought Boma was good for breakfast, if a bit pricey. They make omlettes to order, too.

Sammy (our dog) is much better, thanks. We dropped everything and drove 1,000+ miles just to get home, so we could save him from spending a weekend at the vets!! I think he appreciated it--!

We've never made PS for breakfast at Boatwrights, tho we've done breakfast there a # of times. Once in awhile there is a very short wait, but usually we just get right in. We usually get there around 8:30 or so--.
I don't really know how early they open--my guess would be 7:00 AM.

Glad to hear Sammy is doing well. The only part of a WDW trip I don't like is leaving our dog behind.

Thanks for the reply about PSs and hours. My son and I may try it next trip.

Uncleromulus-
Sorry I'm just getting back to you...I was at DISNEY. I hope your dog feels better soon!!!

Reviews to come...

As you may guess from my signature POR is our favorite and breakfast at Boatwright's has always been a must every morning. I must admit in all the years we've stayed at POR we had never eaten dinner there until this past December and we're pleasantly surprised. The ribs are outstanding.
