Best bread pudding

We love the bread pudding at 'Ohana but the one at Raglan Road is a very close second. The dinner at Boma also had a good one the last time we were there.

I seriously have dreams about the French Toast Bread Pudding on the Boma breakfast menu. They rotate the sauces for it between Pecan Praline (my favorite) and Bananas Foster. To...die...for! We do Boma breakfast at least twice a trip just for this.

This! The bread pudding at Raglan Road is amazing and the sauces they give to pour in and over it make it even better!!! I really enjoyed this much more than Ohanas.

Also if you want a quick bread pudding somewhere that is not at a TS restaurant, Sunshine Seasons has a delicious berry croissant bread pudding. It is so good and so warm and buttery! Love it!

ARE YOU KIDDIN ME!!!!!! Man that looks soooo good.

It is indeed as good as it looks! It is served so fresh and hot! I see you said you are going to Raglan Road on your trip- there's your chance! I am kind of bummed that it's not on our lineup for this years adrs. Now I want some!!!!

If anyone still cares, lol, I have solved the mystery of the pineapple in the Ohana bread pudding... was looking something up to ask someone else and realized why there is no pineapple in the recipe but it apparently is in there somehow anyway. The Ohana bread that they use to make it at Ohana has pineapple in it. So you will never find it explicitly mentioned in any recipes and if you make it at home with whatever bread you have lying around you will have no pineapple in it. But if you make it with ohana breakfast bread and bother to make that recipe first before making the pudding, THAT has pineapple in it.

Seriously went looking for this thread to share that revelation. Yes I need help lol. The OP is right and the rest of us are not crazy!

Thanks for doing that. I happen to love both pineapple and 'ohana's bread pudding but I never got a pineapple taste from it. Maybe because I'm always in a food coma by the time it arrives

I think it is subtle because it is baked into the bread rather than having chunks of pineapple in the pudding or juice in the custard or sauce or anything. that said I haven't had it in years but am looking forward to having it on our december trip :) I would guess if someone REALLY doesn't like pineapple even the slightest bit might bother them. I would probably detect it mostly as sweetness without identifying it as pineapple.

I have tried at Raglan and Ohana and would say Ohana but raglan was good as well. My son and husband say that was the best prt of their meal at Ohana.

Hands Down Raglan Road! But Ohana is a close second. They are both good so it's a win win situation either way IMO :thumbsup2

Ah thanks for this, I thought i might have been going crazy for a while :). We are still going to Ohana this year but i'll prob just ask for the kids pudding (as we have kids with us anyway :D )

Weve also just added Boma to our line up so I will get their yummy bread pudding there too (silly really I never saw it on the menu, especially as we are staying at the resort doh:rolleyes1)

weve also added captains grill buffet breakfast for just me and hubby, whilst the kids are with my sister at cape may cafe breakfast, so hopefully should get some there too.... ahhh bread pudding overload :D

Thanks everyone for all the helpful suggestions, as always :disrocks:

I love the bread pudding at both Ohana's and RR, but I'm so stuffed after dinner, I usually only have one bite and I'm done.
