Best book for info.

I've heard the Passporter is the best...the new 2010 edition comes out next month. I pre-ordered mine on Amazon for $13.

The Passporter is the best book available.

You do need to realize that things change and that ANY book is out of date by the time it is published. The authors of the Passporter try hard and do a good job, but there are errors in the previous editions; some just because they wrong and some because things have changed since the book was written or printed.

You'll get more up to date info here if you pay attention to postings of people who have sailed recently. Some replies from people who last cruised several years ago are less helpful.

i just bought a Birnbaum, but to be honest I wasn't that impressed by it, luckily it only cost £5.

I'm going to have a look for the Passporter one.

The Passporter is great! Also, once you get it you can go to their website and they update you on any changes

I bought both the Birnbaum and Passporter and Passporter was by far the best. However I got most of my info from these boards.

I always use Birnbaum for WDW (even though I don't need it...grief, I could write the book!) but for the cruiseline, the Passporter is the best. I'm going to pre-order the 2010 one very soon. I always suggest the Passporter to all first time cruisers.

Birnbaum just seem to repeat the DCL website. While Passporter provides more detailed information and even previous cruisers feedback. I found it to be the best in telling me about excursions.
