I'm planning a trip for 18 familiy members. We'll be going next Dec. and a few of the people in the group have never been before.

I''m wondering if there are any books that would give the people that have never been a good idea about what Disney is all about - the man, the magic..... They've heard us go on and on about how wonderful Disney is but I'm not sure they truly get the idea.

Thanks!

Howdy neighbor...and Happy Thanksgiving! When I recommend books for those WDW novices, I choose Birnbaums and either the UnOfficial Guide or the Passporter. Birnbaums gives a nice, rosey overview, with nice photos..it's Disney's official book. Then the UnOfficial Guide, and Passporter, give a more rounded view, as well as many opinions. It's a nice blend for novices. There is also a Birnbaums for Kids that is terrific for those with children who have never been before.

If you want a story about Walt Disney, I read his biography from the public library a few years ago.

I have a couple different books about Walt Disney, and my alltime favorite is this book- Walt Disney

The most informational and entertaining book about Walt, IMHO. :thumbsup2
