Best BOARDWALK Restaurant?

Trying to scale down the 700 bill from buffets and look to other disney eating places. What is your favorite Boardwalk restaurant???? Thanks!!

Depends on what you are in the mood for.

Spoodles is good for breakfast and dinner. Flying Fish is excellent if you want an upscale meal.

Big River is great for food/beer and relaxing.

Having just returned from the Boardwalk last week, Flying Fish hands down.

We went to ESPN and had a good lunch there. I might add that we went on a weekday and there were no major sporting events going on so it was very quiet in there Food was good sports bar style stuff(they had a pretty extensive menu). Service was good, and if everybody has sandwiches or salads it would be cheaper than a buffet(and I don't think you'd leave hungry).

You know Beaches & Cream is right around the waterfront? Good stuff, and ice cream to die for

Another vote for FlyingFish. They make a mean steak there as well.

As someone else said it really depends on what you are looking for. Flying Fish is great for an upscale meal. We really enjoy Spoodles for dinner. And ESPN is fun for a sports lover. We haven't been to Big River yet.

The Flying Fish! It is our favorite restaurant at WDW, not to mention, standing out in front of the restaurant, at dusk, with all the lights on on the Boardwalk, its my favorite spot in all of WDW. I just love it.

Flying Fish is also our favorite restaurant in WDW. Our meal there a few weeks ago was amazing. Spoodles is delicious too (we always fill up on the delicious appetizers though and can't even come close to finishing our meals). My fiance loves the ESPN Club, which is nice for an appetizer late at night or a casual dinner or lunch. Big River is also good. It depends what type of meal you're in the mood for. Have tried ESPN, Spoodles and Big River Grille...out of those three I've been happiest at Spoodles. We need to try Flying Fish, though.

If you don't have your heart set on the Boardwalk, we really like Kimonos at the Swan and Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club.

Flying Fish is a favourite... Spoodles is also very good for dinner. I am waiting to try Blue Zoo next trip. Heard its pretty good too!

We like all the boardwalk retaurants very much, but the best of the best, in our opinion, is hands down Flying Fish. Fantastic restaurant--it is our favorite restaurant in all of WDW.

Do you get the same thing every time you go or do you have a variety? What is good for dinner there?

BTW -- I've never had dinner at Spoodles, just breakfast.
