We went to ESPN and had a good lunch there. I might add that we went on a weekday and there were no major sporting events going on so it was very quiet in there Food was good sports bar style stuff(they had a pretty extensive menu). Service was good, and if everybody has sandwiches or salads it would be cheaper than a buffet(and I don't think you'd leave hungry).
You know Beaches & Cream is right around the waterfront? Good stuff, and ice cream to die for
As someone else said it really depends on what you are looking for. Flying Fish is great for an upscale meal. We really enjoy Spoodles for dinner. And ESPN is fun for a sports lover. We haven't been to Big River yet.
The Flying Fish! It is our favorite restaurant at WDW, not to mention, standing out in front of the restaurant, at dusk, with all the lights on on the Boardwalk, its my favorite spot in all of WDW. I just love it.
Flying Fish is also our favorite restaurant in WDW. Our meal there a few weeks ago was amazing. Spoodles is delicious too (we always fill up on the delicious appetizers though and can't even come close to finishing our meals). My fiance loves the ESPN Club, which is nice for an appetizer late at night or a casual dinner or lunch. Big River is also good. It depends what type of meal you're in the mood for. We like all the boardwalk retaurants very much, but the best of the best, in our opinion, is hands down Flying Fish. Fantastic restaurant--it is our favorite restaurant in all of WDW.
