Best Birthday spot for 9 yr old DS?

Hi! We will be arriving in Orlando Sunday morning, (my DS's 9th BD). Not enough time for a day at the parks, but I'd like to do something special for him. Where would you go?

I would suggest a character breakfast at the Beach Club and a walk across to the Boardwalk. Lots of activites and no day in the parks.

Have Fun. My DS turned 9 and we had lunch at the Crystal Palace a few years ago. It was a blast. He still has the pictures of the CM giving him his cupcake and the birthday card from Pooh and the gang.

A lot of people really enjoy the mini-golf at WDW. What about an afternoon playing mini-golf, then maybe to DtD to pick a special gift, then Chef Mickey's for dinner?
