:confused3 We're staying at Sequoia lodge next week with our three children and younger daughter has her 5th birthday on Thursday. Can anyone recommend best activity or celebration for a little girl who loves the princesses and chocolate cake . Disney has sent me a range of options but I don't know what to chose. What about cafe Mickey for dinner ?

thanks,

sleepy beauty.

Never had children birthday in Disneyland, but I think Café Mickey would be a great idea. You just have to tell them that you want your daughter's birthday there, and I think they will accomodate a cake. Moreover, at the time of the cake, the whole staff and characters will sing and dance happy birthday to your daughter. All the birthday I saw there were really nice, and the children looked very happy (also because of the characters).

Hi sleepy beauty, welcome to the DIS! :welcome:

We always enjoy Cafe Mickey :thumbsup2 another idea is the character tea party at Plaza Gardens, as well as the birthday cake your DD would also receive a present there. There are some reviews of this in our Restaurant sticky at the top of the page.

Hi sleepy beauty and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

You could also do lunch at Auberge de Cendrillion although it's a bit more pricey we really enjoyed it.:goodvibes

We had a fabulous Birthday party with cake at Cafe Mickey when DS was 6. We have seen birthday cakes brought out at lots of different restaurants and at various times of the day, even saw one at a character breakfast.
Plaza Gardens has the Birthday Tea Party, where DD would also get a present. At her age and if she enjoys the characters then I'd stick with a character meal, it's lovely when they join in with the singing and clapping too, Lucky Nugget Saloon or Inventions would also be an option :goodvibes
