Best Biergarten reservation times for the show?

When do you think is the best time for dinner reservations for Biergarten to best enjoy the show? Last year we went and were wating dinner when the band and dancing started. Wondering what others do.

Do you know when the shows start? Do you plan your reservation so that the show is before/during/after your meal?

When we were there a few weeks back the show started on the :50s. We were seated around 6:20 as they were winding down then once we were done eating they came back out so the kids could dance. It was pretty good timing. However, our reservations were for 6pm not 6:20 so the slow seating actually benefitted us.

We always book our reservation between 5pm and 6pm. We love the show, but don't really worry about what time it begins since you never really know how long it will take to be seated. We just always plan to stay through two shows.

Yeah as others have stated. It's a constant revolving show....You'll always get to see it no matter what time, I'm thinking.

We normally go at lunchtime and book a later than normal lunch for us around 12:30. When we've traveled the first scheduled set was around 1:15 so we had a chance to sit and eat before they come on. That way the kids can get up and dance without it really interrupting our meal.

Is the first Biergarten show for lunch at 1:15?

It changes. When we go in April/May this has seemed to be the normal time so we book a little later lunch. But when we were there 2 weeks ago the first show was at 12:30.

As long as it takes you more than 45-ish min to eat, you will see the show. I can't remember how frequently they run, but we would usually see at least one, if not two shows while we were there. That's the beauty of a buffet - we'd make a lot of return trips, each time getting small portions. And my dad eats very slowly (sometimes painfully slowly), so that works in our favor here too.

I usually will book for about 15 minutes before the show (we do lunch since it's cheaper and the food is the same and it's usually less crowded). That gives us enough time to be seated, give our drink orders and get at least one plate of food (I get two since I have dessert right away before I get stuffed) and be back in the seats before the show starts.

We have reservations for 6:45, which sounds great if the entertainment starts at :50 after the hour, as another poster mentioned. How long does it typically take to get seated? How early to our reservation time would be good to show up? I was thinking 10-15 minutes. Is that a good estimate to get seated promptly, or is it hit or miss whether you show up 5 or 15 minutes early?

Hi guys, sorry to barge in on the thread but wondered what and where the Biergarten is? Planning our 2nd trip in March and have a 5 year old that loves to dance. We've done Backyard Bbq already and have a booking at Tusker House too, but this sounds good - any characters?

Just be aware that it is shared seating. The tables seat eight so if you are a party of 3, you will be seated at a table with five others. Also, the dancing is on the floor right in front of the stage and you might be seated on an "upper" level (with stairs in between). You can see the entire dance floor and your young fellow will be safe on his own but I wanted you to know things about the place before you decide. You might want to youtube things.

And the only characters you will see will be the band and maybe some of your tablemates :)
