Best bet for room requests at BLT

Hi!
We are renting points from someone for a 1 bedroom at BLT for my family and also renting points from a friend for a separate room for my parents (studio at BLT). What are the chances of us getting rooms nearby or even adjoining? (I realize they occasionally if not always use a 1 bedroom and a studio as a 2 bedroom) Is there any specific language or suggestions on what to request, or should we keep it simple and just say traveling with xxxx and ask for rooms nearby and hope for the best. Both will be standard rooms and we don't care where in the building we are as long as we are close to each other.
I can't just book a 2 bedroom bc of points so that's not on the table for us.
Also after the reservation is made should I call and make sure they have our request? I don't want to be annoying but it's obviously very important to me that we have rooms close by.

Ask tom "link" the ressies, and hope for the best.

You can't make requests yourself on a point rental, and you can't call to check on your requests. You don't own the reservation, and DVC won't speak to you about it (or at all, really, if you're not a member). The owner that you're renting from will need to make the requests for you.

Both owners will need to call and link the reservations, and say that you're traveling together.

If you get there and find that your rooms aren't close together, you can always ask at the desk when you arrive and see if they can get you closer.

None of the rooms at BLT are far from each other since it's a single tower, so worst case, you'd only be a quick elevator ride away from your parents.

Request each DVC owner add "traveling with" and the other reservation number to each reservation. That might help. Then forget about any other requests or online check in requests because those will take precedence over the "traveling with".
