Best bet for airfare???

So I'm starting to look at airfares for June 2017 for our Universal trip and they are extraordinarily high. I've tried plugging in different dates to no avail. I'm hoping it's just because it's so far out yet. Any tips, trucks, websites for best airline fare? I've heard Tuesdays were good to book but that didn't seem to matter either. I think we are going to do a split stay between Universal for express pass and then move over to Sea world hotels for the next few days. Any other money saving ideas, especially with airfare and hotel?? No credit card points or anything like that, so that is out. Thanks for your time!!!

Yep, too early. Right now, you get the "rack rate". Set up a Google Flights alert for different dates around your intended trip period. You'll get an email when the prices go down. Also look at the calendar option they offer. You'll be able to tell the target price you can expect when the time is right. Some sites offer to email deals but they usually send last-minute deals on deeply discounted flights.
