Best Beer in WDW

If anything I think Germany has stepped up, 4 beers you don't see everyday, all are decent. How many times do you see Hovel Alt on tap??

Eating heavy german food with a liter of spaten optimator is a chore, but on cooler nights, a glass outside was welcome.

First time I went, Becks was pretty much it.

Well said. It irritates the heck out of me I get full and can't take another ounce. I like my sassages too. This coming trip I think I will chase ONE bite of sausage with a full beer and so on. That should increase the ratio to acceptable levels

I really enjoy the beer in Japan; Kirin. On a hot summer day it is very refreshing. Still full body though.

As far as Italian beers go, I prefer the Moretti; which you can get at Mama Melrose over at MGM/HS (always MGM to my family!).

One beer that is no longer available that I enjoyed is Skip Jack; over at BW's Bell Bue Lounge and the pool bar. Great local beer. Too bad it is no longer available.

Skip Jack was another AB product similiar to Amber Bock if not the same

I like the beers in Germany, but since its a pavillion with an Oktoberfest themed restaurant, I wish they served beer that you would actually find at Oktoberfest in Munich. An Augustiner or Hofbrau would be great.

I haven't read the responses so my guess is I'm going to say the same thing everyone else said:

Germany, ask the guys working the stand what they recommend. We got a really good Octoberfest beer there last year, but those change.

Other than that, we tend to get a Bass in UK.

I like the beers in Germany, but since its a pavillion with an Oktoberfest themed restaurant, I wish they served beer that you would actually find at Oktoberfest in Munich. An Augustiner or Hofbrau would be great.

But then they would only have them once a year.

Safari Amber is relabelled Michelob Amber Bock, name is good and probably tastes better at Animal Kingdom, but is nothing special. Try Tusker at the DAWA bar although the bottles are no longer 16oz, or hit the Yak & Yeti for some other brews (get a bar seat and you will not want to leave).

Dawa had a bunch of Ethopian beers (can anyone say dry ) when we were there a couple of weeks ago. The Stout was decent but tasted more like an amber.

will look for it, they advertised Windhoek for 2 years, but they never had it
