best beaches?

I've heard a lot of nice things about the Sandpearl in Clearwater, I haven't been to the actual beach in a long time, but we always used to like it. The hotel is really nice and also kid-friendly.

We've gone to St Petersburg beach many times, it was great. We stayed at The Tradewinds resort

How far are you willing to drive? I can give some more, but they are kind of out of the way.

My DH and I love Indiatlantic. Its on the East Coast and its part of the "space coast" Its right outside Melbourne. It has the small town charm because there really isn't too much there. Not barren, Wal-Mart, Wendy's, Publix and a couple of other name food joints, but not over run by the tourists either. There are quite a few hotels right on the water, and if you are headed there from WDW its only about a 45minute drive. Take the Greenway to the Beach Line, about 5 dollars total in tolls and about 15 minutes to get to Eau Gallle Blvd off 95. If you have any other questions I have a bunch of pictures of diffrent local food joints and the beach as well, feelfree to PM me.

I am little biased because we live here, but I second Clearwater Beach. It is a beautiful clean beach.
