Those two topic are not really related, but I thought I could ask both questions in one thread:

1) We (three adults in their thirties) will be arriving at DLRP next Sunday in the evening (planning on getting the TGfrom the airport arriving at 21:20). After checking in at Sequoia Lodge we would like to have a drink somewhere nice as a start to our vacation. Any recommendations for the most magical place to have a drink? We know (and like) the bar at the Sequoia Lodge, but would like to try something else.

2) One of my travel companions has some motion sickness problems. According to her the best cure against feeling bad after a roller coaster ride is eating some soft serve ice cream. I have tried to research where you can buy that at DLRP but had no luck. The menues on the DLRP food guide are all about scoop of ice cream. Can anyone name a location?

Thanks for any help!

I like having a drink in the Fantasia bar at DLH. It's my favourite film and I just love it in there. :smickey:

We've often enjoyed lovely soft ice-creams from the Gibson Girl on Main Street but I think I have read that the brand of ice-cream sold has now changed. :confused3 Your friend is very brave to try the coasters considering they make her feel bad. :flower3:

Thanks for the answer! Is the Fantasia bar the one with windows over Main Street? I was there once many years ago...

And with regard to my friend: not all coaster make her feel bad, so she never knows before trying out a new one...

Now you've got me......I think it overlooks Fantasia Gardens.

Fantasia Gardens is in front of the Disneyland Hotel? I was once in a bar in the middle section of the Disneyland Hotel on the first floor, kind of the above where you would through the hotel on the way to the parks (if I remember correctly), nice sofas, very light and so? It was a great place to go for break from the park in the afternoon, I thought!

Well, I think I will have to explore the Disneyland Hotel a bit in a few days time and will be able to find out then!

Anyone out there knowing anything about soft serve ice cream????
