Best bag to carry in the parks?

We have a bag that I think is similar to the Sherpani bags. It is from target and made by Swiss Gear. We ♥ it!! It isn't girly so my husband will carry it, and it holds a lot more than you'd think. Here is a link to it and it can be found in the Target stores.

REI makes something similar:

Nice little bag, with lots of pockets and a padded section that fits an iPad nicely.

I just checked the website, and I don't think it is offered anymore, my go to bag is a Lands End little tripper diaper bag I bought before my last boy was born.

It is perfect. Small, compact, but holds all I wish to carry. It is waterproof and holds things at temperature well. He is 6 now, and this bag has survived multiple disney trips (probably around 12) as well as every home WVU football game we have attended in the past 4-5 years.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I seriously think I will contact the company to try to get this product available again.

Edited to add: Just search LL bean's site, and they seem to have a bag similar... maybe look at this.

darn, now I want one of those Sherpani bags! They are adorable!

They are wonderful bags. I own 1 tote, the wallet, 4 purses and the hand wallet. The company is really good and their products stand up (no, I don't work for them heehee). My oldest bag is 7 years old and looks great.

I haven't used it in the parks yet, but I just got a cross body bag from Thirty-One and love it! Been using it when I run errands and go to garage sales. It is soft, lightweight, and has a thick strap that doesn't dig into my neck. Best bag ever!

I bought my husband a backpack from LL Bean for everyday use, it was on sale and I don't see it on the website anymore but it's very similar to this one. It has turned out to be a great backpack for WDW. We can put our thermos that keeps ice and water cool all day in the side holder, our good (larger than a normal point and shoot) camera in it, his wallet and my wallet, a light sweater for me bc I'm always cold, and its still not heavy and the straps are very comfy. We alternate wearing it but he usually wears it most of the time.

Edit to add: I have a neck spasm that acts up every so often and cannot wear the side bags that are so popular for WDW because they kill my neck. By the end of the day I have to take major pain meds to even function. So the backpack is a great alternative and it has even weight distribution so my neck is fine.

It's 15 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 4 inches deep (but that depends on how much is in it).

Yes, it does look similar - the bag we got looks like great quality, hopefully it would last longer for you! I have yet to carry it around, but I"ll post a report after we do!

I'm going with a vera bradley lizzy this time. It's a smallish crossover bag.

This is what I was going to recommend. I love this bag so much, I use one everyday. It's fits so much - I don't even need a wallet as there are pockets/compartments for everything. When on vacation, I do use this as a crossover bag - otherwise, I just wear it over one shoulder. Fits a small camera, eyeglass/sunglass case, and lots of other stuff in a very compact bag. Can you tell I love this bag?!?
