Ok so over a month ago I ordered what to me looked like the PERFECT sling bag from Pottery barn kids.... Well low and behold... typical to PBK.... it was on backorder... and the backorder date has changed 5 times since I ordered it!:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:
So I am not holding much hope for my perfect sling bag to be here by July. I waited 7 months for a step stool from them! :scared1:
So my dd is 2 and still in diapers... So I need a bag to carry diapers, wipes, camera, a couple snacks.... bandaids... money, etc... Anybody have there Perfect sling out there? Or any perfect disney bag? I don't want a HUMOGO bag!! I also want something comfortable!
HELP HELP!!

I use a Baggalini. It is a messenger style bag and it has tons of pockets. While it is not specifically a baby bag, there are plenty of pockets and storage for cell phone, baby bottles, diapers/wipes, camera, tickets, keys, etc. It is also water resistant. I bought mine from Shoebuy and received it in about a week. Here is a link for $10 off. http://friends.shoebuy.com/r/68ca549a4eb0102aa2c9

The bag comes in many colors. I got periwinkle. Here is the link showing you what the bag looks like. http://www.shoebuy.com/baggallini-mes160-messenger-bagg/121602

thanks!! I will check it out!!
After I posted this I got the PBK email saying they will not be filling my order... they oversold ............. UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

I am going to try my new Overland Donner bag. I think it will fit all diaper and wipe needs, as well as change of clothes and snacks. Has 2 water bottle holders and places for money and credit cards. I think my camera will fit, but not my camcorder (ours is old; therefore quite large).

I just ordered the Baggallini and my final cost was $19.35. I used the code save10 which gives $10.00 off all bags and received another 10% off for registering with Shoebuy.:cool1:

Cool! I think you'll love it! It seems Shoebuy is always running some type of promo cause that is what I paid too! LOL! I just had a hard time deciding which color. :upsidedow

I got the black Baggalini in the crinkly fabric to take in August and I think I'm going to love it. It's just the right size. If the bag is too big, I'll just take things I don't need. Plus I can use it for a "diaper" bag for my DD who doesn't wear diapers anymore, but wants me to carry her snacks and drinks.

Thanks to the disboards we got the bagallini last year and love it! It was the perfect size for all the diapers, wipes, cream, camera, money etc...but now we have two kids and I'm trying to figure out if it will be big enough for two kids worth of stuff or if we will just have to bring two bagallinis!!!

I loved the bagallini when my girls were still in diapers - I was able to fit diapers, wipes, snacks, etc. for two with no problem, plus the stuff for *me*. That being said, now that my girls are potty trained I use the Overland Donner bag, and my mom uses the bagallini for her camcorder and assorted grammy crud.

Good luck in your bag search, and I agree with the pp about the colors - so pretty! But, I did get the basic black one!

I bought the sling messenger bag and it hurt my shoulder. I just carried a backpack and it didn't hurt me.

Maybe some of the other bags would work for you.

I like vera bradley backpacks as well.

If you know someone that sews, or even yourself- I highly recommend the Chelsea Bag from www.lazygirldesigns.com . It's got a clever strap design that allows you to use it as a sling bag or a backpack. And lots or little pockets that you can pick/choose the size. It's roomy, but not HUGE. I love that I can pick the fabric I want. Not to mention it's a relatively easy project that it goes together in an afternoon.

I have a question about the Baggallinis... how much different is the ripstop nylon compared to the crinkle? Besides the crinkle cost more? I always go for the microfiber type stuff... so I am totally lost here!!
Thanks!!!

Where did you find the Overland Donner bag? I'm going on a "No little kids" trip to Disney Land in June and I need something just to carry my own camera, wallet, sunscreen, etc......... The bagalini just looks way to big for me to carry for just myself.

Hi mytwotinks! I purchased my Overland Donner bag from shoebuy.com. There are usually coupons on the budget board. Love the donner bag - I have it in two colors, LOL, the picante (red) and the slate/plum (grey and purple)!

Depending on what all you need to carry, Overland does make a bag smaller than the donner - but I don't know what that one is called! They do have a bunch of different Overland bags on shoebuy though - you can probably find it there.

Personally, the bagallini would be too much bag for only me, but that's just MHO.

Have fun on your trip - wow, leaving the kiddos and DH at home! How fun!

I agree...if it were just me and DH or us with just our older kids, the Bagalini would be a bit too big. When we have our littlest one though, it sure beats the heck out of having some big bulky diaper bag (even if you do hook it to the stroller). I hate feeling like I am packing for a trip around the world when we are only going to the parks for a few hours.

Now someone mentioned Vera Bradley bags...those sound somewhat familiar...are those the ones that look like a quilt/blanket? Does anyone know if they are waterproof? If they are what I am thinking of, they are cute...I just don't like to carry anything that can get soaked by the water rides-and my kids always make sure we go on all the water rides.

I really like the looks of the Baggallini. I showed it to my husband and he said I will have to carry it because it is a Women's Baggallini Messenger Bag. So is it really only ment for women or do men carry them too? Are there men in the parks carrying the Baggallini or are they going to laugh at my husband when I make him carry it? ...I could get a pink one and have him carry that... :rolleyes1
TIA

It's Disney, I think it is socially acceptable for him to carry it!! Even in PINK!! :)
MY DH carrys my kate spade diaper bags for me all the time!! :)

Okay..I'd think that as long as it is a "manly" color that there really is no difference. Another couple that we go with, the DH carries a messenger bag...he is so uptight about looking feminine...so we tease him and tell him he has a man purse. :rotfl: I don't think it looks silly at all though-I see many men carrying similar messenger bags in black and brown all over the park.

Now on our last trip, my DH actually carried my periwinkle baggalini at times (while me and DS went on the coasters)...he is a very secure man, so nothing phases him. :rotfl2:
