best area at coronado springs

Well...right now they're doing construction in Casitas. The health club, spa, and quiet pool are all closed through the middle of October. So that may affect your stay to some degree.
If you booked preferred, then your room will be in Casitas.

We booked Standard and requested Building 8B or 9A on our reservation and Cabanas with online check-in.

Some people recommend requesting Casitas or Ranchos due to the route of the buses.

We were in cabanas and loved it. We had a view of the beach from our room and it was a pretty quick walk to the main building. We walked around the resort one day and although the ranchos section was really cool looking, it would be quite a hike to main building, (but really close to pool). Casitas would be great if the fitness center was open, my DH and dad used it many times, but I think it's closed now.

Thanks guys! We booked a standard room and when I went to check in the choices were cabanas or Ranchos. I wanted to get advice first before choosing. I think I will choose the cabanas .

Good choice. We have stayed in the Ranchos before and it seems like you are in the boonies, lol.

We like Cabana 8A--you are next to a bus stop and the main pool and it is not far to the food court--maybe a 5 min walk. Also, the pool area has food options and refills for mugs.

That's why I requested what I did. We'll be fine in Ranchos though. We were in Barbados (Bldg 13) at CBR and didn't mind that distance at all.

When I went, I heard that the Casitas had most of the conventioneers, so I requested the Cabanas, but I ended up with Rancheros--I thought it was perfectly fine. People have complained that they are the furthest from all the action at the resort, but I didn't have an issue with the location at all. I hope you love CSR as much as I did! Have fun!

We LOVED the ranchos section when we went last month. It is so beautiful back there. I also like how it's the second bus stop out of the four. We were super close to the pool too. We will definitely be requesting that section again when we stay there next year.
