best app to record Ipad screen?

My daughter wants to record her game play on her IPad, so she can share it on YouTube or with friends. I can't seem to find a good app for it. Or, at least one that is a budget app.

I know with the OS X update to Yosemite, you can screen-record from iOS devices in Quicktime on a Mac.

All the apps I know that do it right on the device require a jailbreak, but I haven't looked in a while.

I use Doceri to record examples for my college courses and post them to our online site. I think it's free for iPad, but you have to pay for a license for a computer.
