Best Ap rate for Feb?

Crap!:headache: I can't find any decent deals for Feb.6th. for just one night. We decided on a last minute trip for DS's Birthday, and it seems like nothings avail. Is something going on that week? :confused3 In Sept. I got really GREAT rates for concierge, and was hoping for the same thing, But NOPE, nothing close to it. DARN!:sad1:

Nothing for concierge. And the rates are about $20 more than AP4 rates were. We are going end of Feb @GC.

I see a $139 rate for PP, standard view. Too high?

Do you want to look offsite? I see that the fabulous HoJo Entertainment Book rate is available for 2/6, if you have the e. Book.

If not, HoJo is giving 20% discount to APs now.

I went ahead and booked the $139 rate. We've never stayed at PP so I am pretty nervous. Now to decide, should we do Goofy's or PCH  lol we've done goofy's and loved it. However we've never tried PCH, and DS loves Stitch.

How do you check the HOJO Entertainment rate? Online?

thanks

Go to their website, which is hojoanaheim.com, and use the code SD50. The incredible, anaheim HoJo-only, rate is about $59 pre-tax for a normal room. If it's available, you'll see that ;if not, you'll see whatever their other rate is.

Remember, you have to have the card from the Entertainment Book when you check-in, to actually get that rate. And it can be an EB from any area, you do NOT have to have the Orange County book.

vernfonzndrian PP is a perfectly fine hotel. And the Lilo and Stitch breakfast is pretty good. They tend to have Daisy Duck there, which is kinda cool. They have little games and such that they invite the kids to play, and they have rice in a rice cooker, which my hubby found cool. :)

They have a kid's pizza on their *dinner* menu (NOT a character meal) that's very fun. They bring out a circle of dough, and little cups of sauce, cheese, and pepperoni if you order pepperoni (we didn't, just cheese, and they brought two cups of cheese). The kid also gets a paper chef's hat that they can decorate. The child "makes" the pizza, then you bring it back to the cooks and they cook it up, and it's brought out again by the server. It was fun for DS and pretty good, too.

To check online, go to their website: hojoanaheim.com and put in the dates of your stay. Select "promotional codes" and type in sd50 (the code for the entertainment book rate) in the box for the codes. If the rate is available it will show up and it will say that it is the sd50 rate. Sometimes, not all the days of a trip will have the special rate and a higher rate will appear. When I put in the dates for my upcoming trip, the ent. rate wasn't available for my first day so the whole stay was showing up at the higher rate instead of at the ent rate. When I checked all 6 days one at a time, I found that only the first day was not at the ent. rate, but the rest were. In that case, you can use another rate (i.e. AP rate, etc.) to get get a lower price on the days when the ent. rate isn't available. You can also call them directly and check to see if the ent. rate becomes available on those days or check online from time to time. If you call them, make sure you call the hotel directly and ask for "in-house" reservations. If you call after business hours, you may get connected to the 1-800 number and you won't be able to get the ent. rate through them. :)
