Best and worst quick service meals?

Best: Tie between Sunshine Seasons for their variety and Earl of Sandwich for their selection
Worst: ABC Commissary in DHS... not a fan!

Favorites:
Wilderness Lodge Roaring forks sandwiches, pulled pork flatbreads, magic cookie bars (except at xmas time when they put on candy cane shaped sprinkles that are mint flavored and ruin them) and the soft serve ice cream there is AMAZING (shocked me).

Animal Kingdom Lodge Mara: african stew, chicken pitas, roasted chicken, hummus dip, BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP, coffee cake.

Wolfgang puck express: everything

DHS: starrring rolls

Captain cooke's at the poly alohoa pork sandwich, sushi and dole whips

epcot sunshine seasons porkchop dinner and potato soup
tangeriene cafe at morocco schwarma platters

magic kingdom pecos bills with the fixin bar

Worst: any disney pizza, cantina eddies at DHS (the italian sandwiches i had heard good things about were disgusting).

Best (Breakfast) Roaring Fork's Bounty Platter. Lots of good food - hard for one person to finish ;) Consistent over several days.

Can't think of a worst, 'cause all the CS food we ate was good. Earl of Sandwich - good. Roaring Fork burgers - good. Tangierine vegetarian platter - all good.

Best - Sunshine Seasons (EP) and Flame Tree BBQ (AK), but Riverside Mill (POR) is a close second.

Worst - Pecos Bill's - burgers are not meant to be soggy, wet and grey

Is WPE = Wolfgang Puck Express??

I don't think that I have a favorite, as it seems that my more memorable meals have all been TS ones and my QS meals are more just filling the need. :confused3

I am enjoying this thread though, trying to learn to pick better QS places!!

THANKS to those that have contributed!!

Best- fast food in Mexico pavilion or WPE
worst-Pecos Bills ew!

Best - Contempo Cafe at the CR - Love the flatbreads and the chopped salad.
Least - Sunshine Seasons (no flames please LOL). There is a strange smell in there that just turns my stomach.

I enjoy Sunshine Seasons. I enjoy the Sunshine Seasons because of the variety of items as well as the portions there.

My least favorite stands way, way, way, way, out from any other CS in any of the four parks, resorts, and for that matter, pretty much anywhere I have ever dined at. That would be ABC Commissary. Absolutely miserable the one and only time I ever walked through the front doors of that place. The only thing it had going for it was the air condition in the 95 degree heat of August.

I agree with your picks.

Our last trip I had a great lunch at Sunshine Seasons, but when I say that around my sister and other family members, I get scowl-y looks. I had great sandwiches at the CBR fast food court, but my wife got a hair in one, so I can't say that one either. Basically, every CS place becomes a horrible CS place for somebody somewhere.

One place that WAS horrible for me, for breakfast (repeatedly), was the QS in the Contemporary. I mean, on three separate occasions. I kept going back out of fascination, thinking, "The biscuit can't be that hard AGAIN can it? And the egss that cold?" But yes, yes they were.

Best for me would be Flame Tree. Ribs were awesome and I loved their seating area. It's probably one of the things I'm most looking forward to next year!
Worst right now is Cosmic Rays. I think I was just way too stressed out about getting in line early for the 7 Dwarfs and my MNSSHP plan altogether to enjoy it. We'll try it again next year and see!

What a tough question! I can only answer it per park:

MK: Columbia Harbor House without a doubt, although it's declined quite a bit over the years. Anybody remember their Monte Cristo sandwiches?

Epcot: Kringla Bakeri og Kafe. Sunshine Seasons gets honorable mention for its variety, and may be the place I'd head to if I didn't have TS ADRs that day.

DHS: none. ABC Comissary is where I'm happiest, and that's a relative term.

AK: Flame Tree easily. Their food is pretty good, but the setting is fabulous in warm weather.

Downtown: Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich are both pretty good. Imagine my delight when I found an Earl of Sandwich Store in my town! (tho it's too far to eat there regularly)

Resort QS tends to be serviceable for me, but nothing good enough to be considered a favorite.

Worst: As of late, any theme park burger. I usually regret ordering them. Pizza would likely be worse, but I avoid them.

In the whole of disneyworld what would you say was the best and worst quick service meals/restaurants?

Favorite-Tangierine Café,morocco epcot. They are large portions and i espically like the shawarma platters :thumbsup2

Worst-Caseys corner. Most people like this but i find there hot dogs horrible!

Best: Wolf Gang Express at Market Place
Earl of sandwich (if only wanting a sandwich)

Worst: new Mexican fast food place that just opened this fall in Epcot so bad forget the name:scared1:

I also have to do this by park:

In MK:
Best: Cosmic Ray's- this place is just a classic
Worst: Golden Oak Outpost- just needs more selection

In Epcot:
Best: Yorkshire County Fish Shop- a hidden gem- sooo cute and so good!
Worst: Cool Wash Pizza- just so random!

In DHS:
Best: Starring Rolls (ohh those cupcakes :cloud9:)
Worst: Rosie's- barely any selection and nott good.

In AK:
Best: Flame Tree BBQ and Pizzafari- both have really cool atmospheres and good food!
Worst: Tamu Tamu Refreshmants- again...needs more selection

In DTD:
Best: WPE- so many options and great portions for a CS credit! It's almost unbelieveable! :thumbsup2 Also I love EoS- lots of options and they're all great!
Worst: I can't really think of one...maybe McDonald's lol. But that's gone now...so I don't really have one...

At the Resorts:
Best: The Mara at AKL- great selection and I love the atmosphere! Plus it's a nice walk there by the pool :)
Worst: Good's Food to Go at OKW- like absolutely NO variety at allll.

best the cafe in france :lovestruc great quiche and sandwiches and the desserts are worth the plane ride to wdw alone. artist point, flying fish, and cape mays, house of blues, and earl of sandwich.

worst: pizza anywhere..horrible! the food court in the akl..really bad.
tonys, what a cute place but if you like chefboyaredee then pull up a chair in tonys.

dhs/ak: the best place to eat at dhs/ak is to take the boat/bus to epcot and eat in france.

Best is Flame Tree Barbeque or Sunshine Seasons.

But my favorite "standard" foods you can get anywhere is the pizza from Pizza Planet/Pizzafari or the Pork BBQ sandwhich. Yum!

Worst is Electric Umbrella. I swear, my last few meals there were coated in salt - more than anyplace else on property.

Really? We were just there and there was a whole set up of tomatoes, pickles, onion, lettuce, etc. It was do it yourself over by the toasters and such.

Wow! That's fantastic. Thanks for the info as that changes everything for me and the All Stars veggie burger.

Best: Hands down for me is Wolfgang Puck-DTD.
Worst: ABC Commissary-HS

Also love to eat at Lotus Blossom: Epcot-China
and the ribs at Flame Tree BBQ at Animal Kingdom were awesome.

Best is a tie between Sunshine Season in Epcot and Flame Tree in AK.

Worst is hands down La Cantina at Epcot. Awful!
