Best and Worst Firework spots

Can someone give me a good idea of where are the best spots to watch fireworks and which spots to avoid completely?
Please keep in mind this is my first visit in a longgg time to disney so spacifics would be very helpful

Also is there any romantic spots to watch fireworks u can think of? I'm going with my DBF

Are you talking about fireworks at MK? I like the bridge to Tomorrowland- you can see Tink "fly" overhead, and the view of the fireworks themselves is pretty great. The Rose garden near the Castle is also a nice romantic spot to watch Wishes from.

At Epcot, Illuminations is shown on the World Showcase lagoon- I like to watch from the bridge between France and the UK or from the Mexican restaurant on the water in Mexico. If you can get an outside table at Rose & Crown restaurant in UK, it is an awesome view and quite nice for couples.

At MGM, Fantasmic is the nighttime show- it is in a big theater. The best seats, IMO, are about 1/2 way back from the front. Not terribly romantic, but the show and fireworks are awesome!!

I thought standing next to the statue of Walt and Mickey would be great...WRONG...the castle blocks many of the lower fireworks...the bridge to Tomorrowland and the second floor of the train station..are generally considered the best spots...but for me..the trainstation is to far away..go for the bridge...have Fun

Forgot to add- at MK, I would avoid Fantasyland- you will miss the lights and fireworks that are in front of the castle, and you have to look straight up for most of the show- not the best spot.

Looks like the bridge seems to be the best choice so far

go to the polly and sit on the beach..itd great no crowds..get a drink and relax..and you can see the light floats go by ...

Be VERY careful choosing a spot on the Tomorrowland bridge! We sat there for the MVMCP fireworks and it was HORRIBLE! We were at the Tomorrowland end of the bridge - Cosmic Ray's is on the right and Belle's story garden is on the left as you come across the bridge. We had a fabulous bench and thought we were set. NOPE! The trees blocked the majority of the show! I was hugely disappointed, and by the time we realized how bad the spot was we were stuck! AND you can't hear the audio from there, either!

My favorite place to watch Wishes in MK is in the middle of Main Street. Yes, you will be in a mass of people, but you will get what I believe is the best view of it all.

Wishes: on main street, between Casey's and the Edie's Ice Cream Shop. Perfect spot...relatively close to the castle, straight-on view, can see all the fireworks including the lower ones.

Illuminations: International Bridge or on the steps of the Canadian Pavilion.
