best alternatives PODS for Nespresso Vertuo

Looking for alternative for the pods for a Nespresso Vertuo. I do not want to make my own. Bonus points for hot chocolate. Google and Rufus can't seem to understand the "Vertuo" part of the request.

Gonna be a long wait for patents to expire sometime in the 2030's so I don't think you have any option but doing it yourself.

Yep, pretty much have to buy from N'espresso! They do sell the make it yourself kits on Amazon. I tried and it's not worth the effort. So N'espresso, take my money!

I usually wait for the buy x sleeves get 2 free from the Nespresso site. Also Target sells Starbucks and Nespresso branded pods, regular pricing is not great but Target Circle (and the 5% CC discount) deals will apply so they make a good filler when you need to get to a certain spend.

I have been tempted by the kits, good to know they are not great.

I forgot about that, saw them too, don't remember the price but did not think it was great, at the time.

Found it in the Costco app - $79 for 60 pods - 24 x 7.7 oz and 36 x Espresso.
That's why I didn't think it was great - too many espresso sizes for me.

We have bought the Starbucks pods, but they aren't really any cheaper than the Nespresso Brand.
