I was just wondering what the best All Star rates were and when they were obtained. How did you get your great rate and what time of year was it?

Last Oct we got All Star Movies for $49/night + tax. :D :D
It was using a code that popped up in August. We had already made plans for June of this year, but at that rate....we couldn't pass it up!!
After 9-11 alot of people we know cancelled, etc. But we went and had a fantasitc time!! Crowds, IMHO, were normal for that week. It was Columbus day weekend.

We are hoping to go again this Oct. But only if codes pop up again.;)

I got the $49.00 AP rate for ASMo. It was for the first week of November 2001. I think I booked that in August.

We got a $49 annual pass rate, too, but definitely not at the Movies. The Movies Resort always seems to be excluded from those great deals or the rooms there are extremely limited as compared to the other two resort for the great discounts. The Movies are always in high demand and can get the higher prices.

Tina :)

Last Nov 30th-Dec 9th we got a $49 +tax at the Movies (yes the Movies). We are waiting for something special for this October.

So were all those $49 rates due to 9/11 or do discounts normally run rooms that low? I booked ASMo for the 1st week of Nov this year and got rooms around $59 a night but if I can get out cheaper, I will definitely redo my ressies.

In Nov/Dec of 2000, we stayed at the Movies (Love Bug) for $77/night.
In Nov/Dec of 2001 - we got the Movies for $49/night. We originally booked the Movies at $80/night. Then a special came for $59, but only available at Music or Sports, so I switched to the Music. Then the $49 rate came, but only available at Sports, so I switched again to the Sports. I think it was like October or so, I called and asked if there was any way I could get the $49 rate at the Movies and the CM checked and said YES, so we were back at the Movies!!! We stayed at 101 Dalmations and my 5 yr old LOVED it!!

We are scheduled to be back at All Stars this Dec and hoping for a great rate again!

Hey Minnie's Pal, how did you get that $59 rate for the Movies for this November. Is it a special code or AP rate? I would like to know as I can only get the DC discount rate for late October.

Thanks

I have a $49 rate for this Sept. Got the code off of Mousesavers.com it was for specific states. The most I have ever paid for AS has been $59 this past Feb.

$49 a night for as sports, we booked in May or June & stayed there Sept. 18th-25th of 2001 Thanks to mousesavers.

(Getting on the plane so soon after the attacks was scarry & WDW was like a ghosttown in the wake of the terror attacks! On a wed afternoon @ 3:00 there were only 3 people on main street besides us! I will never forget that trip!:( )

$49/night All Star Movies. This was in January.

$49 a night, came to around $55 a night with tax -- January AP rate. :) Hoping for a repeat!;)

I used my Disney Club Membership. The lastest code doesn't go through November. But I am keeping my eyes out for a better deal to either upgrade or just save more money. ;)
