best all inclusive family resorts

we are looking to take the children either on a cruise or an all inclusive resort. Any suggestions?? We have 4 children. Thanks!

Beaches in Turks and Caicos is amazing. DH and I have taken our kids there twice, but it is pretty pricey.

PP is correct,BeachesTUrks and Caicos is the very best.It's far better then any cruise could ever want to be. We did a cruse of Hawaii in Balcony suites on very nice brand new ship and Turks and Caicos is still tons better. It is my one true happy place and my favorite island and destination.Disney doesn't even compre.

We did Beaches T&C this year and really didn't like it. We preferred the Atlantis in the Bahamas so much more. Add on the meal plan and its a far better experience.

We've stayed at several Iberostar resorts and really like them. I will say that if you give my kids a choice between a cruise and an all-inclusive resort they'll choose the cruise every time. Their two favorites are Carnival and Royal Carribean, with Carnival coming out slightly on top.

If you are on a budget, there are some all-inclusive resorts in Cancun & Jamaica where kids are free! You just have to pay for their airfare. We booked ours through Apple Vacations.

Just google "best family friendly all inclusive resorts" and you'll find some lists.

I also use tripadvisor to read reviews of the resorts.

We primarily vacation at Disney but have done both a cruise and an all inclusive. We really enjoyed both. Our cruise was on Carnival and there was PLENTY for the kids to do, never any down time. We stayed at an Iberostar in Playa del Carmen a few years ago too and really loved it as well. It was just perfect for us, not the highest rated but certainly not the lowest I have ever stayed in. I would probably compare it to somewhere between moderate but not really a deluxe, but certainly very nice and absolutely no regrets. Good luck and Have a great trip!
