Best all around resort transportation?

Hi all,

we are planning our March 04 trip (6 mights WDW, 2 nights US), and plan to use only WDW transportation. If we plan to visit all four theme parks at least once and Downtown disney once (no waterparks, etc.) what is the best resort for transportation, in your opinion?

It seems like monorail resorts are great for MK, but it can take a long time to get to, say, AK from GF. And Epcot resorts are great for Epcot and MGM, but the bus situation to MK and AK (sharing with all the other Epcot resorts) is not great. We stayed at AKL last year and thought the direct bus service was great, but it does take more than a few minutes to get to MK.

Any opinions?

It's typically a 14 minute ride from AKL to MK. Not really that long. And when you realize that you're traversing from extreme corners of property (which is 47 sq mi), it really isn't that bad.

Bottom line is... go with what RESORT you want. The difference in travel times with the resorts to the parks is minimal. 2 minutes really won't make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things.

We had VERY good transportation at WL in August.
And CSR has been good too, as had at any AS we stayed.
