Best AK & MK Tips

Was wondering about some of the best tips when seeing the Magic Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom Other than a ride strategy. We have already selected the shows/Parades we wish to see (Lion Kingdom, MVMCP) but would like to see some tips on things people might over look or that one should not miss when seeing those two parks. We know the rides we plan to ride and in what order so we would like to see thoughts on subjects other than rides, parades and shows. Thanks...

I personally thought the bats at AK were fascinating...our whole family, ages 5 - 40 still talk about those bats!

In AK, don't miss the Discovery Island Trails, where you can touch some of the carvings at the base of Tree of Life, go under waterfalls-it's a beautiful pathway, but pretty hard to find. Enter in back of the FP machines for ITTBAB.

I enjoyed the long deserted walkway from Asia to Dinoland that goes by Everest....Lot of people think its not open yet but the pathway is and we walked it and passed 3 people one was empting garbage cans....Also benches along the way to sit and enjoy the peace and watch the construction

Wow, I'm glad to hear that pathway is still deserted. Anyone else been recently and found that true? We went way back last May and discovered that big pathway shortly after it was opened. No one was on it then, but we figured it was just cause it was so new then.
